The hostess was very kind and she tried her best despite not speaking English, but it was at times a challenge. We were very kindly welcomed to the house. It was as the pictures depicted. Just a warning to travelers, this is an authentic Korean Hanok experience, there are no proper mattresses and pillows, you practically sleep on the floor with a quilt, so it can be very uncomfortable. Also, no full size towels are provided, only hand towels which are plentiful. Beautiful surroundings and the fantastic location of the Hanok make up for some of the discomforts.

We are a family of four from the US. It was a great experience for us staying in this Hanok. It has a large living area, a single bedroom, and a small bathroom. The inside and outside of this Hanok are beautiful. It was very relaxing for us to sit outside. We also loved opening all of the shutters. There is no cooking facilities, but there is a small refrigerator, and because we drink a lot of coffee, it was wonderful to have an espresso maker in the hanok. Because we are from the US, we are not accustomed to sleeping on the floor on mats, so a bit uncomfortable, but it was part of whole experience. The hostess was always around and very helpful, even though at times we struggled to communicate. I would highly recommend this hanok to anyone traveling to Jeonju and it will be a great experience.

It was a beautiful hanok with a beautiful garden. The room also had a separate living room which was really nice for our family of 5. The host helped arrange for the rental of our hanbok at an early hour so that we could walk around the hanok maeul before we left early in the morning for our next destination. Overall, great host and great place to stay!

The host is super helpful and very kind. We arrive quite late at night and she waited for us and helped to arrange our dinner place. The view of the house is extraordinary. We tried the Hanbok (traditional Korean outfit) and she helped us to mix and match and fit-in as well. I would love to stay here again next time if I visit Jeonju again~!

The house was so beautiful, and the host also was very welcoming. It is located inside the hanok village, so you can walk around even at night. Hanbok, Korean traditional clothes, are available for rent if you want unique experience. Definitely recommend!

Our host was so kind to wait for us at the main road and walked us to the unit. Although she doesn't speak English, she tried her best to communicate with us. She gave us map, explained where and how to go to key attractions. On our departure, she even booked taxi for us. She's a lovely lady.
