This villa was just perfect for my young family including a 20-month old toddler. The owners are extremely accommodating, flexible and helpful. They met us in an easy to find central point in Playa Blanca and lead us to the villa (which has its own parking space), where we were greeted with a soft toy for my daughter that they had bought her. They had also provided an Ikea high chair and a good clean cot for her as well. Once inside we were really impressed - whilst the pictures on the listing look good, it's even better in person. It has lovely high ceilings and a really modern feel throughout, whilst still feeling traditional in a way. The owners spent time showing us around even though it was late in the evening, making sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked. It was not rushed at all, and they even gave email and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)/mobile details for any queries during the stay. It was the best welcome I've had to a holiday home in a long time - not to mention the complimentary fruit and wine. The villa has everything you need, from basics such as pots, pans, glasses etc, to the more unexpected items such as washing powder, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, spices, oils and more. An electric (maybe oil?) heater is also provided which we made use of as we visited in the winter. A cleaner visited us during our stay as well which was another nice surprise, changing towels, cleaning and replacing the complimentary soaps, shower gels and toilet rolls etc. It really has everything you need (minus food of course). There are also a lot of features not mentioned which were a great surprise, it's really kitted out: motorised beds, large smart TV, Bluetooth stereo, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, washer and tumble drier etc. We didn't see any air conditioning in the villa but I'm not sure it would really be needed as there are so many windows and doors to let air in. Also worth mentioning that the pool isn't heated - I still went in (February 2016) but it was a bit too cold for my wife. As the Canary islands can't guarantee sunny days 365 days a year, it was great to have a really nice villa to stay in on the cloudy/rainy days we experienced. Location wise it is at the very edge of the development so is very quiet, but it has a couple of local small supermarkets for most things you will need, as well as a selection of restaurants. You can walk it in about 10-15 minutes, and I'd recommend following the roads next to the mountain/volcano rather than the dusty path. We had a hire car so didn't bother with public transport - it's about a 5 minute drive to Playa Blanca which has free parking, but I understand there is a cheap bus as well. Absolutely recommended, we wouldn't hesitate to return to Villa...
