About this listing
Decorated with reclaimed historic artifacts, unique art and more, "Apartmentito" is designed to inspire creativity, romance, and comfort. Located in the heart of downtown Rincon walking distance to incredible food, shopping, nightlife, and beaches.
Located one block off of the downtown Rincon plaza, "Apartmentito" is our labor of love. We Built this entire space up from a completely raw interior using found wood from a destroyed house, driftwood, spare tiles for mosaics, and other repaired and reclaimed items. We've curated select pieces of art, some drawn/painted by me, others from artists we respect. Inside Apartmentito is simple, but functional. I love to cook, and enjoy having an organized, clean space with quality tools to prepare the amazing ingredients we have access to here in Rincon, and I hope you will as well.
Comfort and quality are our highest priorities. From the sheets and towels to the construction of the interior, we have created this space to be a safe and inspiring getaway. I hope you enjoy and feel the love and passion that inspired me to create this space as an artistic endeavor.
We now have TWO wi-fi networks! Both are high speed and reliable, our location in the downtown area lends itself to good internet connections. There is a router located inside Apartmentito so if you need to restart it you can easily take care of it. If that network goes down or has problems you are free to connect to our other network from a different internet service provider. Take solace in knowing that you can rely on having a wi-fi connection while you are staying here!
Apartmentito is located within walking distance to:
A weekly farmers market with amazing locally grown, organic produce and products.
A weekly art walk where local artisans and craftspeople sell a huge variety of really great handmade art (and later in the night the plaza comes to life on art walk nights).
Five of the top ten rated Trip Advisor restaurants in Rincon. As well as many other incredible food options.
The public beach of Rincon - the Balneario, as well as the Rincon Marina.
An incredible selection of great shopping choices, as well as a supermarket (which also has a little pickup and drop-off car if you'd like).
And many more amazing restaurants, shops and activities within a couple minutes walking distance!
While staying at Apartmentito, the entire place will be yours! Come and go as you please, and make full use of the space. Please, be inspired and enjoy your stay in Rincon with pleasant memories!
Interaction with guests
In the past I worked for Rincon Beer Company, a local bar (located only 1 block away) that has incredible food and a large rotating selection of craft beers brewed on the island, but now I own and operate The Kraken Tattoo, a tattoo studio and art gallery which shares the same building as Apartmentito.
I will be just next door very often, and am more than happy to help direct you towards wherever your interests may lie. My sister runs a vacation concierge business here, Rincon Vacations, so I am very familiar with options and locations for interesting and exciting things to do on the West side of the island.
I love great food, spearfishing, art, and music, so if you enjoy any of those things, I will likely be able to send you in the direction of a good time.
Other things to note
Apartmentito is located in a "downtown" area, and as a result isn't as quiet at all times as some places could be. We are located across from El Escorpion, a beautifully eccentric dive bar run by a great woman named Mary, where there is karaoke on Saturday nights. Noise from the bar is never excessive, but something to consider. Closing laws in Rincon during Sun-Thur is midnight at the latest, and Fri and Sat 2 am, so noise from El Escorpion will never go past that time. As with most places in Puerto Rico you can expect a certain level of random noises, including the occasional neighborhood dog bark.
Please treat this space with love and respect, and abide by all local laws. Don't hesitate to contact me for ANY reason, question or concern!

I recently moved here from Portland, Oregon to surf and soak up some warm weather. I am usually cooking food from scratch, and making cheeses, hot sauces, and beers. I'm an artist, photographer and painter, and I help my sister with her website. I will get along well with just about anyone, and all are welcome here. My beautiful and lovely girlfriend Frances is living here now as well, and we love having guests and are excited to host interesting people!
