Situated in one of the most beautiful historic buildings in the heart of the city, this roof top apartment offers all conveniences one needs for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The list of luxury features is never ending but to give you an impression: Electric sunscreens, a professional kitchen with a wine cooling system for up to 35 bottles, an American oven, a Quooker system for instant boiling water from the tap, an integrated coffee machine for fresh cappucino, cafe latte and espresso, a huge fridge with icecube maker, a bathroom with whirlpool and a separate rain shower with integrated solarium, flatscreen TV in all rooms, a security system and more. If you have to work during your stay, the large desk with laptop conncetivity is the ideal setting for this purpose. Wireless internet is of course available throughout the apartment. On a sunny day you can enjoy your private 20 sqm terrace. Private parking is available on request and is within walkable distance from the apartment. A very spacious and extremely luxurious apartment in one of the most beautiful buildings of The Hague. You just have to experience it yourself!

The apartment was nice, but not what we paid for. The team of BizStay arranged for a Taxi to pick us up from the airport as well as pre-loaded chip cards to use the bus, tram, and train (all for an extra cost of course). They also gave us a really nice welcome box that included toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and a few snacks. However, neither the box nor the apartment had any hand soap. Thankfully, I packed my own. It is important to note that if your flight arrives late, they do charge you a late check in fee. While the space was nice, we really booked this listing based on the bathroom. I was very excited to spend my nights during my trip in the whirlpool tub. Unfortunately, the tub was broken as the jets would not turn on when you got in. They would, however, turn on after you drained the tub. Per my conversations with BizStay, they knew about it BEFORE I checked in. They also failed to provide the protective UV glasses for the solarium stating that they didn't have them. They ended up finding them when I said that I wanted some money back for the apartment not being what they listed on AirBnB. Through my conversations with BizStay about the listing not being what the posted, they became very aggressive with me. One of the other things to be wary about with this listing is what the extra fee for the final cleaning does not include. You need to put away the dishes in the dishwasher, clean out the fridge and freezer, and take the trash out. When I asked BizStay where we should put the trash as we were leaving before trash day they told me to put it in the gray dumpster next to the market down stairs. When I did as they instructed before leaving, one of the workers from the market came out and yelled at me for putting trash there. Apparently, the market and BizStay do not have an agreement for this. With being yelled at for putting the trash where the host said and paying $600 extra for a broken tub, I will not be booking with BizStay again. BizStay is a company that does a lot of rentals like these and for a company that makes this their business, it was not professional at all. Maybe things would have been different if they told me upfront that the tub was broken, but instead they chose to hide it and be shady.

We are sorry for the fact that the whirlpool was not functioning well. Unfortunately we were only aware of this when Kori Lin reported this, which was 2 days before her departure date. We have ordered a spare part (new remote control) which had to come from Germany and it was not going to arrive on time. The UV glasses the guest requested were delivered within one hour after reporting. We thought it was reasonable to offer the guest a discount, comparable with the fee of 2 days admission to a wellness club. Unfortunately the guests did not agree to our proposal. She is right, we are indeed a professional company and we always have to do our best to offer excellent service. We do not suggest that we never make a mistake. We still are human beings. So we'll do our best to turn Kori-Lin's comments into further improvements. It's a the small details that often make the difference!
