About this listing

Breathtaking city views, full access to the deck and beautiful garden in a 2 bedroom apartment with two queen-sized beds! This home has already had 50 positive reviews!

The space

There is one extra large bedroom and one smaller size room on the top floor of a quaint house. There is a kitchen with a fridge, gas range, electric kettle, etc. The kitchen has most of the basics. If there is something specific though, let us know in advance so we can be sure we have it. Sitting in the living room at night you will love watching the sun go down. The views are spectacular!

Most people love our home for a few reasons:
1. It is professionally cleaned and we mean it
2. Parking is free (just remember to move for street cleaning)
3. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with a cute little deli for a sandwich a few doors down.
4. Easy bus access to downtown
5. Amazing Twin Peaks views to take in a glass of wine

There is complimentary WIFI and we do provide each guest with a towel during their stay.

Guest access

The entire top floor is all yours and you have full access to the backyard and deck.

Please note there is no garage parking but street parking isn’t a problem. Potrero Hill is considered one of the easier places to find parking in SF! We ask that our guests do not block our neighbors garage. We have a great relationship with our neighbors and hope to maintain that. Blocking their parking is not something anyone would appreciate. We thank you in advance for keeping our neighbors happy!

There is street cleaning throughout San Francisco. We ask that you take note of what day and time street cleaning is to avoid any parking tickets. The day varies depending on what side of the street you are parked on. If you rent a car, remember DO NOT leave anything in your car in any part of San Francisco (day or night).

Interaction with guests

We're happy to say hello, but always give guests space to make themselves at home. We are always available over the phone for any questions during your stay. If I am not personally there to greet you, don't be surprised if you are greeted by my dad who has lived in San Francisco for over 30 years.

Great little apartment. Incredibly clean and felt safe. Was located well .. not too close to the city and not too far out. Bus 19 was the best to use to get into the city and number 10 to get to the baseball park. Loved it ! Incredible communication from host. Highly recommended

This was a wonderful apartment at the very top of the very steep Potrero Hill. The location is good (the view from the deck is incredible!) and there's a bus stop literally right out front. It's about a 45 minute bus ride down to the waterfront, so keep that in mind while planning your day. That said, you've got easy access to everything you could want—including a 20 minute trip to burritos in the Mission District. We had a great stay and would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was a really good location for our 4 days in SF. It is strangely quiet even though it is on a street which includes a bus route. Really there was never an issue with noise. Personally I would recommend having a car in SF for the duration of your stay. We didn't have one for the first 2 days and we travelled by bus and uber whenever we were too tired. Once we got the car we were much more mobile so this is a lesson for us for the next time we come. The apartment itself included everything we could possibly need and reasonably expect. It is spacious and we slept well in the beds. We never watched the TV but we did make extensive use of the WiFi and this was easily fast enough to watch Netflix etc. When we visited there was a heatwave in California which broke records. The apartment does not have air conditioning and this is normal in SF not to have it. Even in the heat we were able to sleep without any major problems. Finally, we forgot a small but important item when we left and Jeanette was very kind and forwarded it us. If we come back to SF again I would definitely consider staying here again.

This apartment has truly lovely views and very comfortable beds. The apartment is very much as it appears in the pictures, but the view is even nicer at night. The little deli (Chiotras) a couple of doors down has all the basics you will need on arrival and is open until 7 or 7.30pm every day. The number 19 bus takes you right into Fisherman's Wharf but takes about 40minutes or so.

My daughter and I are not morning people. We had coffee and breakfast at Jeanette's place before venturing out into the city. It was therefore very nice to have a clean, well supplied kitchen. The entire apartment was very clean, the beds comfortable and pretty, the view mesmerizing. The neighborhood felt safe. Be prepared to do some serious hill climbing, as the streets are very steep! Except for the bus, which stops just outside the bedrooms, the place was quiet, and the bus wasn't really all that noisy. We got to various SF locations by various means, then got rides with Uber back when we were too tired to do otherwise. We took Super Shuttle from and to the airport - I recommend this service as it was most affordable and reliable, and took us right to our door which made dealing with luggage so easy. Jeanette answered several questions I asked in advance, and I appreciated the information. We were so comfortable and happy while staying at this apartment. It is a sweet spot. And I must say, Goat Hill Pizza had the best pizza I've ever had.

Jeanette's place was exactly what my sister & I needed to make it the perfect long weekend getaway! A sweet, comfortable apartment with amazing sweeping views of the city, & in a fantastic location! Bus stop right out the front door, easy 10 minute walk to Whole Foods & another local organic food market, 10 minute walk to some great neighborhood restaurants, close to the Mission District, & easy access to Union Square. I would love to come back!
