Andy is a great host who went beyond what we would have expected to greet us and make us feel welcome. We arrived rather late at night after a delayed flight, and still Andy made sure to stay up and then help us settle in. He was always available when we needed advice or when we had to extend our stay, and is overall a wonderful person! The apartment itself is cosy and comfortable, in an area that has lots of cute restaurants and bars/cafés. It's not in the city centre, but there are lots of buses and a pleasant walk to Waverley/Old Town. Definitely would recommend this lovely lodging to anyone who wants to see Edinburgh!

Andy was a wonderful host! He did everything he could to help us out, both with the house and with the city. He was always polite, helpful...a really nice guy! Even though we had a baby boy he had no problem hosting us, not even with the fact that we arrived really late at night and he had to stay up and wait for us, he had even bought the essentials for us for our first morning...He treated us as a friend! It was a pleasure to meet him and stay at his place.... We can only thank Andy for what he did to make us feel as more at home as he could...

Andy was a welcoming host, although we never met him. His lovely Dad let us into the flat. He was always easy to contact and quick to respond, often going above and beyond. Thanks also for the cookies and wine! The flat is perfect size for two people, clean and with a great little kitchen. Andy sent us some brilliant ideas to see and eat around the city. His music collection gets bonus points. The area was central enough but not busy; made for a cute little get away. If you are thinking about taking this flat, we say got for it! Thanks, Andy!

Simply put, Andy was the perfect host! Leading up to the trip, he was very responsive and helpful to any questions we had and gave us lots of recommendations on what to do, where to eat etc. Since he wasn’t able to meet us in person, his Dad gave us a very warm welcome and a tour of the flat. The flat is anything but shabby. It’s quiet, cosy and equipped with anything you could need. It’s located in a nice neighborhood and in walking distance to practically anywhere in the City. We absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Edinburgh! Thank you!

Andy is an absolutely amazing host from the beginning to the end. He's very responsive, helpful and polite. We had the pleasure of actually meeting Andy in person for a while during our stay and it was a pleasant catch up. The apartment is in a perfect location in between Edinburgh city centre and Leith. Although we had a rental car, we practically walked everywhere -Leith Port, City centre, and even to Holyrood Park. There are also great ranges of pubs, cafes and restaurants around the corner. The apartment is anything but shabby (very down to earth of Andy to describe his apartment as such). The apartment is quaint, charming and welcoming in all aspects. The bedroom is spacious, and sipping tea by the window looking down the street is an Edinburgh experience in itself. We would definitely recommend Andy's apartment to anyone planning to visit Edinburgh! Thanks Andy, you're awesome and we can't wait to catch up with you again!
