The accommodations, the location/grounds, the hospitality... all were WAAAY beyond expectations! Nothing listed in the description -or in other reviews is an exaggeration, if anything, it is likely understated. I won't list every fantastic detail that we experienced during our quick 2-day trip to the tiny house, just want to say this place and the Carlson Family is exactly what I envision as the absolute best of what airbnb can offer. We all had such a wonderful time!! Thanks again Bill for having us!!!

We had four adults and were very comfortable! You don't need much room inside with all there is to do outside. We spent each night watching the sunset from the porch of the tiny house with a bottle of wine – it was perfect. Bill and Lori introduced us to all the animals, showed us how the aquaponics system works, and how they make lavender oil. Everything you need is within a short drive – grocery store, cute breakfast cafe, wineries, etc. and Bill offered great recommendations for everything we wanted to do. We loved it and are hoping to visit again soon!

Spectacular is an undertatement. The farm and the tiny house are charming, beautiful and peaceful. Bill and Laurie are outstanding hosts. Our children (5&14) had so much fun playing with the animals, exploring the woods and picking lavender and blackberries. Beautiful area surrounded by farms and wineries and really easy access to the city. When I'm back in Portland for work (even with no family) this will be my go-to retreat.

Wow! What a beautiful farm to experience in clean and tranquil accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed the animals, the beauty of the lavender fields and the views for miles. Bill was a fantastic host making sure all our needs were met and making great recommendations when asked. Close enough to make an easy day of exploring in Portland, but far enough to be very quiet and secluded. With the cottage set away from the main house, privacy was ideal. If you've wondered what all the talk about "Tiny Houses" are about, experience it first hand and you'll be impressed... I know we were and will definitely return if we come back to visit Portland.

We had an amazing weekend in the tiny house! The farm is beautiful and peaceful, and Bill and his family are wonderful hosts (including farm dogs Milo and Kiefer), and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property has beautiful views of the valley, and is just a short drive from some great food and vineyards. Visiting during lavender season at the farm was amazing, and Bill was great about showing us around the farm. We will definitely be back!

My family and I live on our lavender farm where we meet people from all around the world during our u-pick season (June & July). We love meeting new people and adventure travel. I also enjoy aquaponics gardening, playing indoor soccer and trying new things. We enjoy hosting our tiny house and hope to make your stay the best experience possible.
