Description
Description

The space

The apartment is 35 sqm/m2 which is divided between the bedroom and the living room/kitchenette, with adjacent bathroom. In addition there is a small front porch. The kitchenette is well equipped with everything needed. The apartment has high-speed wireless internet. The bedroom has a single bed and there is a self-inflating air mattress if needed. Fans are available for the hot weather, but the apartment is well located on the ground floor and very comfortable and cool in the summer.

Interaction with guests

I will be abroad and thus contact in Jerusalem will be with a trusted friend who lives close by. I will still be available to contact by phone or email whenever needed.

The neighbourhood

The apartment is located in the hip and charming neighborhood of Nahlaot. A five minute walk takes you to the Machane Yehuda-market, or as we say, the Shouk. Here you can buy fresh groceries as well as visit wonderful restaurants and cafés. The city centre is located a mere 10 minute walk (or a 3 minute bus ride) away. The Old City of Jerusalem can also be reached by foot (25 minute walk) or by taking the Jerusalem Light Rail from the station by the Machane Yehuda-market. Also in walking distance (10-20 minutes) is the Israel Museum, the Knesset, Saker Park and the new cinema (Cinema City).

Getting around

Right across the street from there is a bus station with buses going to the Central Bus Station, the University, the Israel Museum and other areas in Jerusalem. By the Machane Yehuda-market there is a station for the Light Rail, which can take you all over the city. In the city centre, a few minutes away, one can find almost any of the bus lines.
