Poppy Cottage is a 2-minute walk from the market Town of Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The cottage is ideally located for visiting Alton Towers, Dovedale, Carsington Water, Buxton, Bakewell and all surround areas of the Peak District National Park.

The space
Poppy Cottage is a small, cosy cottage in the heart of Ashbourne Town in Derbyshire. 20 minutes from Alton Towers and the stunning surroundings of the Derbyshire Dales. It’s a two minute walk to the town centre with lots of shops, cafes and pubs to explore.

Poppy Cottage has full central heating with oak flooring throughout the ground floor.

In the front room we have two, two seater red leather sofas and a full smart tv and free wifi. There is also an open fireplace with a large log look electric fire.

The staircase leading upstairs is all in natural wood.

The kitchen consists of a ceramic electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, undercounter fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the pots, pans and cutlery you will need for your stay.

In the Dining room you will find a foldaway dining table with 4 chairs and 2 armchairs for relaxing, reading a book or playing a few games round the table.

The French doors lead out to the rear off the house to a small patio area. There is a secure gate to the side of the house for pushbikes round to the rear of the house for safe keeping.

Upstairs the cottage is fully carpeted.

The main bedroom has a double bed with beautiful solid wood furniture and open wardrobe.

Bedroom two has a solid pine bunk bed also with under the bed storage for clothes.

The third bedroom has a solid pine single bed, this room is very small so ideal for a child but the bed is a full size single so could fit an adult.

The shower room consists of a toilet, wash basin, towel radiator and a shower cubicle with power shower.

Parking available outside the front of the property on a one-way street.

Side gate to the rear of property which is shared with the neighbours. French doors to access the house from the rear.

Other things to note
Please note, that the stairs within the property are quite steep, anyone with any sort of mobility problems may struggle although We have fitted two hand rails to make it easier for people.
