Brads place is beautiful. Amazing lush surrounding. Wake up with the birds, go to sleep with the frogs. We loved to have our meals on the patio overlooking the tropical vegetation and the ocean. Brad was always available by phone or text. A very nice man. We would stay again.

The place was exactly as it was described in the listing. The view was breathtaking. It is next to the rainforest so you hear all birds, frogs and insects sing at night which I find very enjoyable and relaxing . However my partner had a bit difficulty at first to fall asleep. So it's more the matter of personal preference. The kitchens was fully equipped and the basics for breakfast was provided. We had a memorable stay.

Brad's place was absolutely amazing! The sounds of the rainforest at night were so soothing and in the morning having coffee outside over looking the rainforest was amazing! Brad was very kind and extremely helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do around the island. He also offered to take us on an incredible hike up the river to a rope swing and naturally made water slide, it was a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend staying here!

Brad's house is very nice , the view is amazing , we loved the sounds of the birds, insects and "cooki" frogs. It s a real getaway in the middle of the nature , and 15 min away from the beach by car. The kitchen is big and well equipped. Brad was super helpful and gave us a lot of tips. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed in this home for the last 5 days of a 12-day trip across the Puerto Rican islands. It was the absolutely perfect conclusion! The home itself is beautiful (clean, laid out very well, tons of access to nature), and offers a perfect secluded yet connected location. 5 minutes from the entrance to El Yunque 2-10 minutes from tons of restaurants, beaches, etc. And to top it all off, there's Brad, the property manager. He greeted us at the home and was easy to connect with with any questions for recommendations. He is the definition of hospitable and I cannot thank him enough. Stay here; you will NOT regret it.

Brad was a really great host -- very flexible, accommodating, and responsive. He checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. The house itself is lovely, nestled within a lush canopy of trees and a quiet neighborhood within El Yunque. It is also quite spacious, with two living rooms, a dining space, and a large and beautiful outdoor area -- even with 6 people (including 2 small children), there was always a quiet place to escape to. As some other visitors note, there are some ants, but insect intruders seem to be somewhat unavoidable around the island --- totally worth it for us given how wonderful everything else was.

It might be a cliche, but Brad's place is like the best of both worlds. Situated in a lush setting in a quiet neighborhood, you'll feel like you're staying in the middle of nowhere in the rainforest; the entrance to El Yunque is barely a five-minute drive away. But you're less than an hour drive from the heart of San Juan and there are grocery stores and restaurants within an easy 10-minute drive (check out Don Pepe on Route 3 for fantastic Puerto Rican food!) The house has all the amenities you could need (full kitchen, clean bathrooms/showers, cable TV, reliable wi-fi). Brad even left us basic breakfast provisions in the fridge, though I'd recommend stocking up at the Selectos supermarket if you're planning to cook a fair bit. Breakfast in the morning and drinks in the evening on the patio can't be beat! The geckos apparently loved watching us ;-) Caveats: it's the tropics, there will be bugs (mainly ants) and humidity (there was no working A/C for us). Also, finding the place for the first time proved tricky; the addresses in the area can be confusing. This is a fantastic base for exploring El Yunque National Forest, Luquillo beach, and the bioluminescent bay and beaches near Fajardo. All are within a 40 minute drive. And Brad was super helpful with recommendations for places to explore, eat, shop, etc.
