Our 2BR basement suite is good for couples on vacation, adult families and friends. We are adult orientated. The spacious, 1,450sq.ft. walk out suite has high end furniture and fittings. The back area is perfect for BBQ or relaxing on the lawn. We are in central Kelowna.

The space

This large 1,450sq.ft suite is spacious and comfortable with high-end furniture and decor. Outside, you have your own BBQ area with a patio set for 4 and propane BBQ. There is also easy access to the back garden.

The open plan living area has a gas fireplace, a large leather sectional sofa, 55 inch LED TV, Shaw TV programming, free WiFi and Apple TV with Netflix. A solid oak dining table and chairs complete the space.

The 2 large bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds, high quality sheets and towels. The full bathroom has a bath and shower and is fully equipped.

The full kitchen is spacious with all appliances, including a dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker. Various condiments and spices are provided. Scones/muffins in freeze; juice, yogurt, fruit and water are stocked in the fridge for your breakfasts.

The suite has a washer and dryer.

Vehicles have safe parking at the back of the house in view of the suite access.

Guest access

The house is on a 1/3 acre property situated in central Kelowna. We are just 5 minutes drive from beaches, the hospital, the downtown core, the casino and the Orchard Park shopping mall. We are on bus route #8 and have ample parking on our property for your vehicles, boats and trailers.

Interaction with guests

We are in contact with guests on a regular basis before and during their stay. We live upstairs. If there is anything you need, just ask, text or call. We will always respect your privacy.

Other things to note

The Kelowna International Airport is just 15 minutes away and you can reach the Big White Ski resort in less that an hour.

We are a registered B&B and are compliant with all city requirements.

Wonderful basement suite - lots of amenities to make you feel at home. Great couple who were very helpful and were even kind enough to leave us some breakfast should we need it. The suite is huge with two good sized bedrooms, large living area and well stocked kitchen. Very central to kelowna centre only 5 mins away - would 100% stay again

Pat & Jenny were lovely hosts. Helpful and welcoming. The place was really spacious and well equipped for our stay and only a few minutes drive to lake side, local wine route and Myra Canyon. Would highly recommend whilst in Kelowna.

As a synthesis I just can say that I would return here and truly recomend the House of Pat. It is very comfortable and unspotted. With all you need for your staying and more. Pat's place was fantastic! We had an excellent stay. He was very accommodating and thoughtful. Anything we could have needed during the stay (e.g. soap, shampoo, snacks, water bottles, laundry detergent, breakfast etc.) was available. It was super easy to check in and out. The place is huge! Even better than the pictures. So clean. Fully stocked with everything you need and then some. Pat and Terry are perfect hosts. Nothing in Kelowna is more than a 10 minute drive away. Would stay here again and suggest it for friends!
