Other things to note

Our optional breakfast is vegetarian with vegan & gluten free options...let us know your allergies in advance.
Distances are greater than you think here and roads are narrow..the smaller car works best!
we prefer arrivals to be before 9pm and we are happy to serve a later dinner if we are informed in advance.
in summer there is long light and in winter the country roads can be very dark already at 5pm so allow time to arrive safely. We are a destination well worth lingering at and enjoying the food, books and even the musical instruments

Lorna was very welcoming and friendly. She would often stop to talk to us. She also showed us around her beautiful gardens. Breakfast was included. Quiet and comfortable sleeping accommodations. There was plenty of room for three people, a queen and single bed.

Weary travelers, we arrived when the sun was spreading its warmth and light over the beautiful and peaceful gardens. Lorna's warm and genuine welcome immediately made us feel at home. Morgan prepared two fantastically delicious dinners with flavorful fresh ingredients that delighted our palates and senses. The color and the flavor of her delightful home restored our bodies and souls. It is a soulful oasis of peace and tranquility. We loved our time there and would absolutely return should the chance arise!
