If you want a warm, inviting, and pleasant stay in Baraboo, then you should consider staying here. The breakfast was amazing and the accommodations exceeded expectations. Plus, the house is in a great location near restaurants, numerous attractions, and the state park.

Very beautiful mansion, location could not be better. Wine and cheese at 5 p.m. with hosts and other guests. We had a very pleasant stay, sorry it was so short!

Julie was accommodating for our late arrival. Her breakfast was FAB with her blueberry/lemon pancakes.

Response from Julie:
Kate, Regarding your question on Value: You booked through AIRBNB. We only advertise for a queen on AIRBNB, they also get a percentage of our booking fee, so we make less money that if you were to book direct. We offer discounts for multi night stays, and offer 3 different bed sizes. The full size room would be the lowest price room, mid week, slow season for $129.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. It was in a great location right by downtown Baraboo and a quick drive to Devil's Lake State Park. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Julie served a tasty breakfast each morning - the first morning was florentine Benedict and the next morning was lemon blueberry pancakes. The B&B was very clean and retained a lot of the historic beauty. They did a very nice job! It was a pleasant getaway from Chicago and I absolutely recommend staying here!

The Ringling House caught my eye simply for it's beautiful architecture - but I had no idea the amazing history we would learn while staying there! We were lucky enough to book and have the whole house to ourselves, enjoyed the sunset on the porch, walked to downtown Baraboo to enjoy dinner and slept in a cozy, quiet bed. Julie and Stuart made a delicious breakfast in the morning, sat and ate with us and carried great conversation. I recommend more than one night here if you have the chance - we'll definitely be returning!

Your Innkeepers, Julie Hearley and Stuart Koehler are engaged to be married, and somehow in the near future, between starting a new business, working, and getting to know our neighbors and guests, we will find the time to get married! Julie was a computer programmer for over 25 years, is a musician, loves to cook, garden, and has event planning experience. Stuart has been a manager for over 35 years, with property, operations, and business management experience. He has an MBA, has written a book, and has experience running several different businesses in his lifetime. We have also have a cat that we share named “Cinnamon”.

After several setbacks in this unstable economy, we decided to take charge of our lives, use all of our talents, and do something special! After finding this beautiful historic home, we developed the idea of transforming this former single family home into an exquisite bed and breakfast. It has the perfect combination of all of our interests: history, cooking, hospitality, parties, socializing, music, gardening, writing and events. Fortunately, we have had the overwhelming support of our family and friends, who also have been helping us with this gigantic and sometimes overwhelming endeavor. With this help, along with local craftsmen and contractors, we have finally gotten it to a point where we can share it with you, our guests! This house has been a single family home for over 100 years, and now is open for you to explore! Please join in our hospitality!
