Holly’s house is spacious and very well set up for a family holiday. There was a high chair and plenty of toys to keep the kids entertained. You could also close off the living area from the bedrooms, which was helpful of an evening. There is a large oven and bbq, with a fully kitted out kitchen. Do BYO wine glasses if there are more than 3 of you planning to have a drink though. The house is across the road from a nice green park, and about 10-15 min walk to the beach though I’d recommend heading down to Sandy Cape (20 mins drive) if you have little ones - it was much more picturesque and also more sheltered from the wind. Jurien itself is not somewhere I’d rush back to (but that’s not at all a reflection on what a great host Holly was or how lovely her house was). If we were to come back, we would stay there again for sure.

My husband and I are a couple who live in Perth, Western Australia. Anthony is a winemaker in the Swan Valley and I am a stay at home mum (for now!). We have 3 beautiful children, Harry - 6 years old and Alice - 4 years old and John - 1 year old.

We thrive on travelling and have spent a lot of time all over Australia and the world. We particularly love France, Croatia and the USA (which is where my mum's side of the family live - so we love to visit family there).

We live for wine and good food (in that order!), so many of our holidays are based around wine regions.

We used to go to a lot of music concerts but in recent years have found ourselves going to more comedy shows.

We have opened our home in Jurien Bay to Airbnb guests as we do not get up there as often as we should, so someone may as well be enjoying it!
