Loved staying here! The house is secluded and peaceful but not far from Mystery Bay and Central Tilba. We will be coming back for sure!

The Lyrebird Lodge is very peaceful and quiet and would be perfect for a short getaway. Chris is extremely easy to communicate with and easy going. I underestimated how far the lodge was - 15 mins from Central Tilba. It was difficult to find the first time and a turn onto a wrong dirt road can lead you into the middle of nowhere with no phone reception. After I got to know the roads it was easy. The house itself is well equipped and beautifully furnished with handmade furniture and quality bedding. The only downside is no laundry so it makes it difficult for longer stays.

Chris and Carol have created a little piece of paradise - the animal and birdlife in the area are abundant and wonderful. The Lodge is lovely, even though the outdoor kitchen took a little getting used to. We were made to feel very welcome and very much enjoyed our stay.
