Great location near wineries. House is a bit run down and water smells like sulfur.

The space itself is extremely simple and bare. Nothing there except a bed, tables, and a couch. Basically just a roof over your head with bare essentials. But this was somewhat expected from the listing and the price for the area. Location is incredible, very close to downtown and Silverado trail full of wineries. Nice little neighborhood. With a little paint and some time fixing up the place it could be nice.

Camp Johnson was the perfect find in Napa - affordable, quiet, quaint, with a great backyard. We came to Napa to be outside - driving to and from wineries, up and down the Napa Valley and we didn't really want or need a fancy hotel. Jason's place was the perfect combination of rustic and comfortable and we really enjoyed our two nights there. I would return in a heartbeat. We were able to drive around all day and take an Uber or Taxi into Downtown Napa at night - it was really an ideal set up.

Jason was awesome, professional, and responsive. The space is extremely rough and bare bones but I expected that. It could use a fresh coat of paint at the least. However the location, yard, and neighborhood are incredible. There are small vineyards literally across the street. 5 minutes to Yountville and Napa. Beautiful views.

There are definitely some Pros and Cons about this place. We'll start with the good. The location is amazing, my fiance and I walked to two tasting rooms with our dogs (and there were many more). Dogs are allowed which was awesome for us as we had two with us. There is a small 'garden' with a HUGE field attached to it which our dogs loved playing in along with a nice fireplace, chairs and a grill that swings over the fireplace. Overall, the house was fairly clean as well. Jason made us feel very welcome, he responded immediately to every concern we had. He also gave us the key to his house so we could grab plates and grilling tools. The cons were that they were obviously redoing a 70's style farmhouse. They had just pulled the carpet up from the bedroom and you had to watch for nails. The toilet runs and the chain dropped 4 times while we were there so we had to hook it back in. No TV, plates, utensils and the like. However, I assume they will be adding these to the house soon.
