About this listing
Make this your home during your SF trip and enjoy the many nearby attractions. Cottage-style home with modern well-stocked kitchen, dining area, living room with sectional sofa, and bedroom with queen-sized bed. Includes breakfast fixings.
When you walk in from the street after your busy SF day, the first thing you'll notice is the bright, cheerful layout, and the hardwood floors. The first room you'll encounter is the kitchen, with granite countertops and modern appliances, including a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen is well-stocked with plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, silverware, pots, pans, and everything else you'll need to make a nice meal. You'll also appreciate the Keurig coffee maker, complete with a variety of K-cups. Finally, since breakfast fixings are included, you'll find cereal, bread, eggs, jam, peanut butter, coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, etc.
The next room is the dining room, anchored by a new table and with wall decorations.
After that is the warm, inviting living room, with high beamed ceilings, tasteful decorations, a sectional sofa, and a TV with cable.
Next is the bedroom, also warm and inviting, with a queen-sized bed and plenty of shelving and closet space. The bed fits two people; if your party has more, we provide a blow-up mattress in the living room.
Finally, in the back, is the bathroom. It has all modern fixtures, and a washer and dryer.
Note that, as with many homes in San Francisco, the parking situation can be frustrating :( The home shares a *very* narrow driveway with the home in the back.
Feel free to park in the driveway to load and unload your car, but please park on the street when you're done. Normally you can find parking within a block, but unfortunately sometimes it may be further away. Take careful note of the street sweeping restrictions, and also be aware that some parking spots on the bigger streets are metered. The SF police are pretty vigilant. For better or worse, parking frustrations are part of the experience of being in the city!
You'll have access to the entire home, with the exception of the outside storage under the home.
Interaction with guests
Depending on when you arrive, we may meet you in person to give you the keys and show you around. Once you arrive, please let us know if there are any issues, or if you have any questions.
The Richmond District is a neighborhood in the northwest corner of San Francisco, California, developed initially in the late 19th century. It is sandwiched between the Presidio of San Francisco and Golden Gate Park. The former was a military base founded by the Spaniards in 1776, and is now a popular recreation area and the home of LucasFilms. The latter includes the De Young Museum and the California Academy of Sciences. Other nearby attractions include the Golden Gate Bridge itself -- arguably *the* iconic symbol of San Francisco -- the Palace of Fine Arts, and the Legion of Honor.
There is an eclectic assortment of restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood. If you're looking for fantastic margaritas or traditional Mexican food, head to Tia Margarita, less than one block away. A bit further and more upscale is Aziza, a Moroccan restaurant.
If the Keurig coffee machine isn't quite enough to wake you up, there's a Starbucks two blocks away, and a host of more unique coffee shops too.
The house has easy access to the 1 California and 38 Geary bus lines, allowing easy access to China town, the financial district, and Union square.
Other things to note
It's the exact same property, the exact same price, the exact same amenities, etc. Even though that listing says it's for a shared home, that's not accurate. You will indeed have the whole home to yourself. Long story :( STR-0000615

I know it's a stereotype here ... but I have a high-tech background and a life-long penchant for real estate. I have my broker's license (though I don't actively buy or sell homes), and that license enables me by CA law to manage other people's properties. I now manage about 15 properties. I'm slowly growing my business, focusing on quality rather than quantity. I pride myself on providing a top-notch white-glove service to both my clients (homeowners) and guests, and I'm slowly building out my team.
Happily settled in Silicon Valley for 15 years. Wow, time flies!
Favorite food ... tough question. I love almost everything, but I have a particular weakness for French, Vietnamese, and Cajun.
I'm a very respectful host -- I love to help guests out with as much information as they need about my place and about things to do, but also give them all the space they want. Communication is key -- in both directions!
Five things I can't live without? Favorite music and movies? Good grief! This is AirBnb, not Match!
