Cottage is much bigger than the pictures let on. Great location for exploring the Gorge and what Cheddar has to offer. The garden was a perfect sun trap, great that it had 2 bathrooms, very comfy beds! We recommend the Bath Arms pub for food.

We stayed two nights in this charming cottage dating back to 1790 ... but don't panic ... lovely modern facilities in the two bathrooms not a slops bucket ! What is lovely is the retained charm and atmosphere of an old cottage with added entertainment of 3 TV's ... one in the master bedroom, one in the lounge and one in the large spacious kitchen. Talking of TV the cottage is a little like the Tardis on Dr Who in that it is much bigger on the inside than appears on the outside. Around the cottage are many interesting and charming artefacts of a bygone era of the 50's / 60's ... very interesting. The position of the cottage for us was perfect nice and quiet but only a short 15 minute walk to the town with a number of pubs to eat in and drink of course ! For food we would certainly recommend the Bath Arms in the centre of Cheddar. The only real drawback is the lack of a parking bay but we parked opposite the cottage a little below it partly on the pavement about 20 yds away ... it was safe and secure enough. But in summary we really loved staying in the charming cottage and may well revisit for another stay.

Beautiful and quirky cottage, Suzanne's neighbour was so helpful in getting us set up. And we loved the garden, genuinely felt like we were in the Mediterranean. Would definitely recommend!

Susanne's cottage is gorgeous! The pictures don't really do it justice; it's spacious, homely and full of character! Neighbour Jules made us feel very welcome upon our arrival and throughout the weekend. Highly recommend! We will be looking for another excuse to stay at this charming property!

Susanne's cottage was absolutely wonderful. Charming country side location and it had everything we needed. It was warm, cosy and we loved the bath tub. The outdoor area looked really nice too (it was rainy on our visit though!) Her neighbour Jules was most helpful with our arrival. Overall easy and great value for money. Highly recommended!

The house is so cosy and whimsical. Such a magical location, a stones throw from Weston-super-Mare town atmosphere or Cheddars natural beauty. Ideal place to get away!
