Munden is newly refurbished cottage, sympathetically updated to the highest standard but retaining oodles of character, combined with modern amenities. 2 very good size double bedrooms, both with King Size beds, one can be 2 singles, kitchen diner, sitting room with roaring log stove. Accommodation is completed with a modern bathroom and heated with an air source heatpump. Located in a quiet but central position in the heart of Youlgreave with easy access to local walks, shops and cafes.

The space
The cottage has been completely and sensitively refurbished, it has a fresh and open feel, with cosy features of the original building. Bedrooms are large doubles, both with King size beds. Bedroom 1 is especially spacious and can be a twin bedded room.The bathroom has a walk- in shower, quality shower,shampoo and moisturiser products.The kitchen diner is beautifully appointed, open plan, well equipped and has a round dining table around which to enjoy a convivial evening. The living room is furnished with a mix of old and new, the wood burning stove creates a warm and inviting space in which to relax. All rooms feature local antique pieces, photography and crafts, mixed together with modern comfort. A good size garden is located to the front of the property. A pet maybe allowed, guests are asked to check prior to booking. A small area to the back of the property provides a safe space to store bicycles.

Centre of village , access to beautiful walks, stunning scenery, local cafes delicatessens and pubs. Stately homes such as Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are close by along with hiking trails in the beautiful Peak Park. Turn right out of the cottage on the pedestrian path and walk directly down to the river. A few seconds walk along the main road will take you to the Farmyard Inn, a good old fashioned pub whose Sunday roasts are delicious, hugh and great value.
