A couple rules...1) No smoking at all in the suite. (Smoking only outside with proper disposal of filter tips). 2) While we have a friendly dog in our family, we prefer to keep the suite pet-free. We used this location as our base for 2 days of exploring the wineries, artisan shops and breweries in Prince Edward County. Very well equiped and spacious unit. Lenny was very welcoming and helpful especially when the "directions" link did not lead us to the correct location.

We had an amazing time staying at Lenny's Airbnb unit. Upon arrival we recieved a nice basket of snacks and coffee. The sandbanks pass was a very nice bonus as well! The place was clean and cozy. DVDs and wifi were also provided. It's located in a nice peaceful spot very close to downtown picton. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

First the good: - Spacious home with good distribution. Good size for a group of up to 4 - The kitchen is well equipped; that part is very practical if you have kids - Attentive host who had detailed instructions and a Sandbanks pass. He also provided coffee, chocolate and toiletries. - The location is good, if you have a car. About a 5 minute drive to Picton's downtown Now the not so good: - On the outside the home does not look well kept, with lots of weeds in the front yard. - Inside, the home did not feel clean at all. The sheets were smelly and so was the mattress on the bedroom. It felt as if a pet slept there. - The bathroom did not feel clean either, the shower curtain was dirty and the bathtub had lots of what appeared to be scratches on the floor - The couch (the one that was not the sofabed) looked old and dusty - There were a few small spiders inside the house

Good value for the budget conscious traveller. The suite is spacious and clean and a 5 minute drive from Picton. Lenny is easy to contact and responds quickly. We appreciated the pass for Sandbanks and the treats!

The place was cozy and clean. I stayed at the apartment with 3 other people and we had plenty of room. The location was central. We were 20-30min from Sandbanks and 20min from the cider houses and wineries. Lenny was a great host! He was easy to get a hold of anytime we had questions. He was also very flexible in regards to our needs.

Great value/cost ratio. Location is just a few minutes away from Picton in the heart of Prince Edward County. The suite is attached to the main house but it feels like it's its own house entirely. We had a great time and would stay again.

We are a respectful family with a great sense of style and grace! We like to work hard with our hands and creativity. We try to contribute positively to our community. Lenny, a filmmaker and part-time university/college professor, regularly volunteers with charitable and not-profit arts and cultural groups. Keri, was once a teacher, but after an inspiring career change, now is found building houses (specifically sustainable ones). We love living in the County and are grateful to have the opportunity to share our cottage and our homestead suite with travellers from near and far. Each year our fruit trees will bloom, the sap will run, and we'll do our best to go on living 'La Vie a la Campagne'!
