Be as private or not as you choose. The accommodation is within a modern house with central heating and WiFi facilities. It stands midway between Ipswich and Woodbridge and both are within easy access by public transport. Adastral Park is nearby.
The room is large and has all facilities including for tea and coffee making. WiFi available throughout the house and garden.
The room is at the top of a three story semi-detached house with access via a common front door.
Interaction with guests
I will of course welcome all guests, discuss their needs and suggest things to do and places to visit nearby.
Other things to note
The room is entirely private. The kitchen is a shared facility but always available for basic food preparation.
Smoking is not allowed. The house itself is in a quiet area and past residents and guests have commented on its basic privacy.
I am a recently retired teacher having spent the last 25 year teaching in the UK and abroad. I enjoy classical music both recorded and live aiming to visit at least one concert a week, and often two. We are blessed in Suffolk with some magnificent scenery and, weather allowing, I walk regularly along the many estuaries we have and on that part of the historic coastline which has not , as yet, been washed into the sea! I enjoy reading, especially those novels describing the Social History of the UK such as written by A.J. Cronin and R.F. Delderfield among others. The theatre is also another of my passions and we are fortunate in having within driving distance some very good professional and amateur institutions. The growing technical centre of Adastral Park is within an easy bus ride or drive of the house
