Please do not hesitate to email us with questions about the home or your travel plans in San Diego and to inquire about availability before trying to book.
We ask that there are no parties at our house and only the number of guests reported at time of booking be on the property unless you specifically ask us ahead of time.
You will have access to the whole house and deck during your stay. A two-car carport will also be available to you.
Since this is our primary home, you will find all the amenities to make your stay comfortable: full kitchen, washer/dryer, clean sheets, towels, soap/shampoo, hair dryer, gas BBQ grill, central heat and A/C, and Wi-Fi. The house can accommodate 8 guests with 1 California King bed, 1 Queen bed, and 4 Twin beds.
We are raising our four young children here so our house is reasonably baby-proofed. Deck has a small play structure and play house. You are responsible for watching your kids while they play to keep them safe. We can share a pack ‘n play, stroller, bikes with helmets, boogie boards or toys upon request. We are happy to accommodate families!
Please note that since this is our primary residence, closets and drawers will not be empty for your use. One half of the refrigerator will be emptied and available for your food, though please empty it when you leave.
For those with difficulty walking, while there is one bedroom on ground level, this is a three-level house with two narrow staircases.
Interaction with guests
We interact with you mostly ahead of time and leave you be during your stay.
Other things to note
Do look over directions carefully as there are several turns to get to our house. You need to make sure to straight down the steep hill past the row of white mailboxes to get to our block.
We spend a lot of effort preparing our home for our guests and appreciate when you return it to us in great condition.
This is our primary home and the neighboring houses are close, so please be courteous. You are welcome to use our carport (fits 2 cars), but there is no street parking on our street. Park any additional cars on the nearby cross street. Please don't use our home phone for outgoing calls unless you've made arrangements with us prior to your arrival. Once you book, let us know your arrival and departure times so we can plan accordingly.

My husband and I love San Diego and look forward to sharing our love of this little corner of the world with others. We have traveled extensively together and are now sharing the joy of travelling with our four young boys. We love playing Ultimate Frisbee, eating sushi, playing games, going to the theater and raising kids. We are happy to help orient you to the area and make your stay as comfortable as possible.
