This semi basement apartment is bright and clean. The small kitchen even has plenty of amenities for fixing small meals or having a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. The bathroom has plenty of drawers/ storage space and roomy enough for two. The desk came in handy for me as I needed to do work while there but there is also a little couch and TV if you wanted to just chill during your stay. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shop, and ale house in walking distance but this is definitely a neighborhood. Amy, your hostess is gracious, helpful and immediately responsive to any issues or questions you may have. You'll enjoy your stay here!

Lovely mother-in-law unit with private entrance. I have had visiting family stay here twice and they loved it both times. Perfect-sized kitchen and spacious bathroom. Well-appointed and nicely decorated. Amy is a great host, very communicative. I would not hesitate to recommend this to friends.

Neighbor hood was quite as described. Accommodation was just what we needed. We were on the go and were only there to sleep. The set up is was good, has a cute little kitches space, living room and bed. The place was clean and kept up. The only thing was the heater was loud throughout the night. But I would recommend the stay to others. we did not have the opportunity to meet Amy but she was responsive and even extended our check out for us.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for her birthday, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The mother-in-law was the perfect size and felt like a cozy home away from home. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but there are a lot of dining options close by and you can get into the city relatively quick. I recommend anyone going to Seattle to check out amy's place, we most definitely will again.

The place was really clean and nice to settle into. No problems in checking in, even though we told Amy we wouldn't arrive until closer to midnight. The neighborhood is pretty suburban but not far from a lot of the interesting districts like Ballard and Fremont. We also had a car so it made getting around easier. Overall, very safe neighborhood. We were comfortable during our entire stay for just 2 people. Keep in mind that the ceilings can be low (it is a basement after all). One of us was 5' 11" and it was low (but not intolerable). I'd imagine if you were over 6' and claustrophobic, just bear in mind. Definitely would stay here again though.
