Barbara's house was the perfect spot for our family holiday- we were happy to relax at the house and occasionally venture out to see sydney sites. We walked to bondi junction in 15 minutes and then on to bondi beach in another 20 minutes. To get to Sydney CBD took 30 minutes total (walk/bus). The house itself was stunning and had every amenity we needed.

Fantastic location, nice host, great spaces but a little darker than expected in the living and dining room. Renovated parts of the house were good (master bedroom and bathrooms, kitchen, family room, laundry area and upstairs bedrooms). A little cluttered for our liking but very cozy at the same time.

Response from Barbara:
The house is a colonial house, with verandahs which shade the rooms, built before 1876 (but with more recent additions and with modern bathrooms and kitchen). We use the traditional downstairs living room as an evening room or to escape the heat and light at the height of summer. But the upstairs living room has an abundance of light. It's a family house, and is priced moderately given its size and excellent location, to reflect that use and to provide an affordable stay for families.

Barbara's home is beautiful and spacious, and perfectly located close to the CBD as well as Bondi, and in a lovely walking precinct with great coffee, food and retail options on the surrounding streets.

The house was perfect. It was massive and so clean; it had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and there were restaurants nearby. Barbara was very helpful. We had a great stay!

We had a delightful time staying in this lovely, historic house; quite close to the Queen St. cafes in Woollahra. House was as represented in the photos, it's quite a big house, has 2 living rooms. We tended to congregate in the kitchen. Woollahra is a great location close to the city, Bondi junction - and Bondi beach (10 minute quick walk to Bondi junction.) It fitted our large-ish group easily (4 adults+ 2 teenagers.) It was mid-winter in Sydney, gas heaters in the kitchen and upstairs living room worked well. The house had everything we needed, communication with the owner before we got there was good, check-in was smooth - following instructions, and the owner's son was very helpful when we had any queries. Thanks again!

Although Barbara was not at the property for reasons explained to us, the property was listed accurately. The neighbourhood was extremely nice and quite with it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this house.

A beautiful house in a stunning, central location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time over the Christmas / New Years holidays and would highly recommend to others. Barbara was fantastic and made sure we had information on local sights and surroundings including restaurants and parks for NYE, including a blanket for our group to use. Such a homely and fantastic house, we'll definitely be in contact in the future.
