Description

The space

Grab this amazing deal on large family house.

Our family house is on three levels: downstairs there is a big hallway, guest wc, fully equiped kitchen which leads to a dining room from which there is access to the garden. Living room leads to conservatory/ playroom for our children which also has access to the garden. The garden wraps around the house so you can watch birds and squirrels in the garden from any window.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms. First bedroom is on-suite (with single bed that can be made into small double and two cotbeds), the other two bedrooms share a family bathroom (one has double bed, the other one single bed that can be made into double).
On the second floor is our new loft conversion with a bedroom (with large double bed), study/small lounge and a big bathroom.
We have three children so there is plenty to entertain children of different ages both inside the house in two kids bedrooms and a downstairs playroom and in the garden with playcentre, trampoline, sand pit, paddling pool, swings.
There is a gass barbeque for the adults as well as swing bench and other chairs to relax on and enjoy.
Guests are also welcome to our freshly grown produce in the garden (strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes and cucumber at the moment).
We also have equipment for children (4 highchairs, two cotbeds, one travel cot). We can also let the quests use our double pram.
Plenty of bedlinen, towels are provided.
We can also let the guests use our bikes and children's scooters.

The neighbourhood

The house is in a quiet gated development minutes walk to the high street with restaurants, cafes, bars, cinema and shops as well as a local park, with swimming pools for adults and children. The house is situated in the afluent part of Streatham with easy access to Central London.

Getting around

All Central London's sights are within easy reach by tube, train or buses that go directly to the centre of the town (in about 30 mins). Parking on site also available.
The regular trains from Streatham Hill station (10 minutes' walk) will take you to Victoria in 18 minutes, trains from Streatham station (10 minutes' walk) direct to St. Pancras or Blackfriars. There are numerous buses that take you all over London (e.g. 159 directly to Trafalgar Square and Oxford Street). The nearest underground station is Balham, a five minute bus ride away. Another one is Brixton, 15 minutes away.
Connection to Airports - Luton airport direct train from Streatham station, Gatwick direct bus from Streatham High Road or 45 minute train journey, Stansted bus to Liverpool street and Stansted Express or train to Victoria and National express, Greenline or Terravision bus direct to the airport.

I booked Jana's place for a family holiday spanning 3 generations and as with all bookings, I chat with the owner beforehand to ensure that it the property and terms will be suitable for both parties. Janas communication was friendly, clear and accurate. Although we did not meet in person, everything was in place for us, with detailed instructions and local information which contained useful tips. The house itself was spacious light and clean with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 4 toilets ample beds, very light and luminous, a sundrenched garden and tv, wifi, 2 dining tables, ample seating and cooking facilities...everything perfect for a 2 week, 8 person family stay, and the children in our party were enthralled by the facilities. A parking space is provided too which is a bonus. The neighbourhood has easy access to central London, but is in a quiet area. Contingency arrangements worked well also, when we locked ourselves out of the property, a keyholder came to the rescue. We felt very much at home, everything worked well and it was a perfect stay.
