Heartfelt Farm is situated alongside the St. George River and sits atop a hill on a dead end road. Our house is a restored 1773 Cape surrounded by flower gardens, an orchard and fields. We have two rooms up a slightly steep stairway with a handrail, each with double bed and shared bath. Breakfast included: Come visit!

The space

Our small but cozy 1773 Cape has two private rooms with double beds available for nightly and weekly rentals. A slightly steep stairway with a handrail leads you to the rooms and shared bathroom. Pleasant views and airy rooms abound.

Guest access

Our Living Room, Library and Kitchen and Dining areas let sunlight through the many windows and are always available to guests. The Kitchen area opens out onto a deck overlooking the gardens, with pathways through the Flower Gardens and young fruit tree Orchards and Fields. Our property lies along the St. George River and sits atop a hill on a dead end road. There are walking trails to the point that overlooks the River. Ample parking and easy access to the nearby village of Thomaston and
the town of Rockland are just minutes away.

Interaction with guests

We are always ready to help out with difficulties or itineraries, suggestions of places to see and favorite stores and restaurants that surround our location. We are at your service and enjoy meeting and talking with our guests. We have free Wi-fy 24/7.

Other things to note

We are a small working flower and vegetable farm and as well, we each go out at times to work for others. Typically one or the other of us will be on hand in the mornings and late afternoons.

The flower farm was perfectly located to see Rockland and take the ferry to Monhegan Island. We loved sitting in the gardens at night to see the billions of stars and listen to the sounds of... complete silence..ahhh. The old farmhouse was beautifully restored and decorated with a whimsical artist eye. Stay here and experience it for yourself!

Gregory met us at the street because our GPS would not recognize the address where their Airbnb is located. Gregory cooked wonderful breakfasts.

Absolutely nothing negative to say. Hosts were great and we felt very comfortable with them the entire time. Gregory let us know about a local restaurant, walking paths down to the water, etc. After they left for work in the morning they let us know that we were welcome to stick around and enjoy everything heartfelt had to offer. The house and gardens were beautiful to say the least. They were also kind enough to work with our busy vacation schedule. Overall a great experience.

We had a less than graceful late arrival (entirely our fault) and Gregory couldn't have been more gracious about the whole thing. Our weekend in Maine was highlighted by delicious homemade breakfasts and pleasant company at Heartfelt Farm. Wonderful coastal towns, hikes, gardens, and adventures are just a stone's throw from Gregory and Kathleen's home... and their beautiful grounds and gardens are worth a visit alone.

Gregory was there when we arrived and made us feel welcome. He showed us our room and made it clear he was available should we need anything. The farm is charming, comfortable and serene, and very tidy and clean. We loved meeting Kathleen as well and the breakfasts were delicious. Our room was great, the bed comfortable, the shower awesome :-) . Thank you Gregory and Kathleen!

We are from the mid-coast of Maine, run a small flower and vegetable farm and gardening business; and are a Carpenter and RN as well. We love gardens, art, music, good food, wine and coffee. Love to wander in new cities to us, and find the local hang-outs and the beautiful gardens.
