The best: the sunny and really nice terrace! You have a wonderful view and really can relax. The rest of the appartment is pretty basic. The bedroom has no window which means no fresh air. The entire room is filled with the bed, it is so tight you can not even go around the bed. The bedroom which is shown in the online profile is actually not the real bedroom but the living room. The place has one real bedroom and one living room (which you can turn into a second bedroom) - the bed in the living room is very, very, very basic. Don't expect too much. Alessia is not there in person. A friend manages the check-in. She is friendly, does not speak/understand a word English however.

Response from Alessia:
In the pictures there is exactly what you see. If you sleep in 2 people you have your entire room, if you are more I always tell that the other room is the living room, and there is the sofa bad. You never told me that you need 2 room, if you asked me I had say that the second bedroom was a sofa bedroom.

thank you Alessia for great management ;) friend Francesca open and show for us apartment and we are very happy for 2night stay in your apartments!! for future clients - Francesca speaks only Italian ;) but it's not a problem for us, just try to understand and use your fingers to show the signs :) very funny :) Apartments very authentic, on the second or second and half floor with lot of steep steps, keep in mind if it problem for you ;) for us not :) Living room+bedroom+kitchen+bathroom+lobby they are compact but nice to use/live and enjoy +2 terraces, one for dinning (funny thing - you can bring all food straight out of the kitchen window ;) second for relaxing on roof with sunbeds. Apartment fully equipped, more than we expect, with fast wi-fi which working even on roof ;) Exceptional opportunity become like a citizen of Gallipoli ... here you find authentic furniture, smells, neighbors, city sounds and soul. Fresh fish from fishermen every morning and evening in port area. Fresh vegetables and fruits in small shops or every morning directly at apartment door. Free or cheap and safe parking in Port area. We are very satisfied from this stay and have just only one regret - too short stay :) 11/10 Best recommendations for those who are looking for a colorful life and takes everything it offers!!! Not recommended for peoples which sensitive to smells (apartment have some notes of mold and fireplace odors), who expect cleanliness like in 5stars hotel, who expect dead calm in the old town center, for families with small kids....for all who searching for boredom ;)

Alessia seems to be a nice person, it was very easy to communicate with her, she responded almost immediately. Unfortunately she doesn´t live in the town, so we didn´t meet her. It was her friend Francesca who we met - Francesca doesn´t speak a word in any foreign language which made our communication extremely difficult. The apartment is quite simple, you could smell antimosquito chemicals in all rooms and also some humidity - the apartment would need ventilate more often, this was the most unpleasant part of the stay. The bedroom has no window and is very dark. The kitchen is well-equipped. The terrace on the roof is awesome – just have a glass of wine and watch the sea and the sunset! When entering the house, you have to almost cross through another apartment and then climb very steep stairs – but it didn´t make any problem for us. Wi-fi didn´t work 100% (we have to restart it several times), but it was ok. Cars are excluded from the city centre, the only chance is to cross the bridge and park in the port (3 euros per day) and then walk some 8 minutes to the apartment.

Thank you very much! The wifi doesn't works very well because in the old city there is not a good signal! And the humidity...we are near the sea,it's normal!

Biggest pros: - Right in the center of old city; next to sea and bars. - Beautiful and quirky architecture and interiors of historic Mediterranean sea town. 2 terraces; top one with sea view! - Super nice and helpful hosts! To be aware: - Staircase and terrace not great for very young children (ours aged 3 and 2). This is a great cosy place for a couple.

The views of the sea from the roof terrace are terrific, and the house makes you feel you live on an island - which of course you do We were there around Palm Sunday and enjoyed lots of musical performances in the churches.

Allesia's place is a beautiful one-bedroom apartment in the middle of Gallipoli's old town. It is cozy and has a great roof terrace with amazing views over the town and ocean. Allesia was a very friendly host, communication was smooth and easy. Can definitely recommend this place and would always come back when visiting Gallipoli again.

Alessia was easy to communicate with. The flat is very nice. Unfortunately, my parents were in Gallipoli during some of the coldest days this winter and there was a misunderstanding regarding the heating system. When they checked-in, the person who welcomed them also turned two small electric heaters on (as there is no central heating like in most places in Puglia). It would have been better of the flat had been warmed before my parents showed up. It remained too cold for them to stay. Alessia was very understanding and flexible. Really appreciate it! Definitely a nice apartment when temperatures are more normal.
