Our stay was lovely! The location is great, very central and easy to walk to everything. The cottage was just as expected and hoped for plus all the incidentals that daily life requires, which was a very nice surprise! The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Easy walk to everywhere which is great, since it seems as though parking may be a little difficult around the restaurants, but we only used the car to drive to the beach, and there was easy free neighborhood parking available for that. The beach is just minutes away. The space was the perfect size for the two of us and our little girl. Much cozier than staying in two rooms in a hotel. And having a park right across the street was lovely. George was quickly available upon our check in. What was even better was their flexibility with checking in and out. Super easy and no rush on either day which, with a little one, is a big relief. Made everything hassle free. And lastly, we headed to the San Diego Zoo for the day and the drive couldn't have been easier. Its pretty close and direct from the Island, so we didn't loose out at all by not staying in downtown San Diego.
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at the Cozy Cottage in Coronado and greatly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is light, breezy and clean in whites and cool beach colors with decor that make you feel very in the moment of Coronado (which is very beach-oriented). The sofas and beds were all comfortable, everything you need in the kitchen, wi-fi and direct TV, washer and dryer, and two nice chairs on the porch for some lovely sitting outside. George met us when we checked in and was helpful with information on area restaurants, grocery and a concert in the park. We also went to a movie at the historic Village Theater - great place. I loved that we could walk almost anywhere we wanted to go! We were there to visit our son in the Navy and the cottage is not far from the Naval Air Station North Island on Coronado. Good restaurants: Cafe 1134 and Villa Nueva (great breakfasts), Bluewater Boathouse (on the water) and Tent City for dinners. Loved the house and the area! Would definitely recommend and would stay again! Thank you, George!!! Richard and Tamra Reno, Midlothian, Texas
