Place is good and spacious. It's surrounded by coffee plantation but you should be careful of the leeches mainly in rainy season. Food served is excellent but one serious issue is that electricity. Mr.Bops was very friendly and took time to take us through his estate. During my stay of one day there was electricity hardly for half an hour. So basically you can do much after sunset. They had provided 2 emergency lights (lamps) and candles but you can understand it doesn't feel like a paid vacation and is something you wouldn't expect after paying so much for accommodation. Good that hot water was available (through solar geyser). So please make sure that you check about electricity before booking the place.

My parents enjoyed their stay! Things they loved: The care takers - they were an absolute delight, and went out of their way to do special things for the guests. The neighbourhood was scenic and quite - good if you want to just relax The host was friendly and gave us all the information we needed Things one should watch out for: It's an old style house - hence leaks in a few places during monsoons and sound travels really fast through the rooms, especially kitchen It's quite away from the city, so monsoons may confine you to the cottage If you are looking for some quite time, with some pampering look no further!

Mr. Bopanna was a great host during our 2 day stay. The home was situated amidst beautiful coffee & pepper estate. We had our breakfast and dinner and the food was delicious. Mr. Nanda was present in the estate all the time and was ready to help all the time.

Bops is a good host and the caretakers at the stay are very friendly. Since the property is secluded from the city the ambiance is quiet and calm. Issues we faced were with power cuts and leaks from the roofs.

The location is lovely. The house is surrounded by trees and a coffee plantation. Even though the host, Mr. Bops, was not available, we didn't have a problem getting around. The house needs some serious plumbing work. The flush in one of the bedrooms was a complete disaster. The water gushed out into the bathroom instead of going down the WC which ultimately resulted in stinking up the whole bedroom and making it almost impossible to sleep through the night. My family and I were there for 3 nights and on 2 out of those nights, there was no electricity. There were bugs all over the place despite the mosquito repellent coils. Because there was no electricity, the caretakers could not cook food on time. The food was mostly a repetition of the same three ingredients for all our meals. All in all, there's a lot of work that needs to be done before the host can welcome anymore guests to his property. The house has great potential and a few simple tweaks and repairs can really go a long way. Before you make a booking at beans and blossoms, I suggest you talk the host to find out if all the above mentioned issues are taken care of.

Our family of 9 had a great stay at Bops' place - we had the whole house to ourselves, with full flexibility over what food we could have cooked. Spacious rooms, with the top floor's two rooms especially done very aesthetically. Bops personally took us on a tour of his estate, which was much appreciated by all :)
