Al is very helpful and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is somewhat borderline from a security point of view.

Communication with host was good. Al was very responsive even though I had called late in the evening for my check in. The house is a work in progress and the area isn't the greatest. I won't knock him for this as it was a failure on my part to research/recon the area due to my rush to obtain a room for the evening. The room was neat and description was accurate. For a budget place to crash it was ok. So if you're only in Baltimore for a hot minute and just need a bed and a room to crahs in before you boogy on out of town this will suffice. If your staying the weekend I would look somewhere else.

Al was a great host. He was very quick to respond to my messages. When I told him we didn't have enough pillows for each of us, he went out to get us more pillows. He seemed genuinely concerned about his guests' safety, warning us about pulling the front door shut. There were multiple surveillance cameras outside. However, the condition of the guest room and the house was bad. The room was small. The beds were position right next to each other, barely leaving enough space to walk between. There were supposed to be 2 bathrooms for all the guests in the house to share, however only 1 was working for more than 10 guests in the house to share. We saw a mouse run by, and found one of our plastic bags bitten through. The bedsheets and blankets looked soiled and had a strong odor. There was also a rack that was not properly installed, and fell apart onto my friend. My guests and I felt that the living condition of this Airbnb was not acceptable at all.

Response from Al:
Thanks for the feedback. This was an experience managing the arrival and departure of groups of 4 and 5 for a concert that happens once a year. We managed it safely and everyone had a great time. I will pay much closer attention to detail. Our bathroom renovations are complete now. Welcome to your next great stay.

Al is a really nice guy, if you need something, He will accommodate as much as reasonably can be expected, and quickly at that.

Al is friendly and efficient. Great communication regarding check-in and -out, as well as what to expect regarding other AirBnB guests. Accurate description of room. Helpful recommendations about the city itself.
