The little Cabin is located in it's own private, quiet garden on our smallholding in the glorious Cornish countryside, 5 mins outside the picturesque town of St Ives. We have many rescued animals including donkeys, shetland ponies, sheep, dogs & cats. (Who may visit you during your stay.) The cabin sleeps 3 people. A single bed and a double sofa bed. We can accommodate a fourth person/child but it would be on a Z bed or in a travel cot. The Cabin is suitable for quiet singles, couples and children. It is fully equipped including fresh, clean bed linen, a toaster, microwave, kettle, cooker, fridge/freezer, TV , books & games. We can offer a babysitting service if required @ £10 per hour. Travel cot & highchair can be supplies if required. Towels are supplied. West Cornwall Golf Club is less than 2 miles away and Horse riding, Surfing & many other activities are available locally. Sorry but we cannot accept dogs due to livestock. Guests are welcome to muck in and "muck out" the animals. Please remember to bring your wellies if you want to go into the paddocks. There is a shed next to The Little Cabin which is stocked full of buckets & spades, wetsuits, surfboards, windbreaks, beach chairs, BBQ, toys & games. All available for guests to use.
The Cabin is located within the boundary of our smallholding, but is set within it's own private, quiet garden. Access is through the farm entrance & past the stables. You are welcome to use the large top paddock to have a camp fire, (Wood provided) BBQ, play, fly a kite or just sit, relax and take in the fantastic views. Lots of our guests love having a camp fire, toasting marshmallows, wrapped in a snuggly blanket & watching the beautiful night sky.
Interaction with guests
As we live on the smallholding we are usually always available. Please feel free to call at the Farm house or Barn if you have any questions or problems during your stay. We try to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. There is a shed next to The Little Cabin which houses toys, games, beach equipment, such as surfboards, buckets & spades & crabbing equipment. Please feel free to use them.
Other things to note
We are a working smallholding with donkeys, ponies, dogs and sheep. Gates must be kept shut at all times. It can occasionally get muddy and the donkeys will bray when they see you. Guests are welcome to pet the animals, children must be supervised. Please remember to bring your wellies, just in case it rains. Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times and must not be left in The Little Cabin alone.
We welcome people who like the outdoor life, animals & the countryside. On our farm we have donkeys, ponies, pet sheep & friendly dogs. We are happy for guests to "muck in" and "muck out." It is a quiet & peaceful area. Smoking is not allowed inside the Little Cabin. Whilst we encourage interaction with the donkeys & sheep, please do not enter their paddocks without supervision. Please shut all gates behind you.

Hi my name is Suzanne. I live with my family on our "Funny Farm" just outside beautiful St Ives. My son was home educated for a few years so we decided to combine his education with travel. We have travelled to Thailand, New Zealand, South Africa, USA, Egypt, Spain, Aruba, Costa Rica, Portugal and around the UK. We carried a rucksack & used public transport to get around, tasted lots of great food & stayed in many different types of accommodation. It was travelling and meeting so many wonderful and interesting people, that gave us the idea to share our home with others. Be kind and respect others. Treat people how you would like to be treated. Live, Laugh, Love.
