Lan was a wonderful Host. This was my first time staying with AirBnb and I must say what a way to start it off. I will definitely be staying with Lan in the future when I come back out to the Bay area. The house is located right in the center of everything you might need, and is meer footsteps away from the BART which can take you where ever you may want to go in the Bay Area.

When I arrived at Home. I was really tired and didn't have much time for shopping, but she prepared food for me so that I can relax after my long trip. I loved this house as it closed to many places including Bart station, grocery, etc. When I was having some problems, she helped me a lot such as ordering, parking, etc. I stayed there 2 months, I had a great time. I really recommend this house.

My fiance and I stayed with Lan and her family for a month and I can honestly say she is a lovely host. The first time we set foot in the door, she had food ready for us and the room was very tidy (the whole place is very tidy, always). If you request something, she will try her best to meet your needs. For example, we needed a place to park so she gave us her own residential parking sticker so we wouldn't have to pay extra or continuously move about on the street. She is also very good about communicating with her guests if there are plan changes, new people coming in, etc. The house is as described and in a very quiet, safe neighborhood. The only noise usually comes from her little dogs (which only are outside dogs) and the BART, which is a 7 min. walk away. It is also conveniently located near a very awesome and cheap Grocery Outlet. Overall, I was very impressed with Lan's generosity. She is a great host and I would highly recommend her.

Lan User Profile

As a resident raising 3 children in the heart of El Cerrito (few miles from UC Berkeley) since 2000, I truly know our city, neighborhood, and the vicinity surrounding El Cerrito. I have been a real estate agent for most of the last 10 years, I have an MBA from a top European university in Italy, and a BA in History from Hunan Normal University in China. Beyond my professional career and education, I have been continually involved in school and community programs that have helped bridge the gap between American and Chinese culture and have striven to create a greater understanding among people with disparate views.

Although my knowledge of real estate in our area is essential, what truly makes me special is my ability to make people feel comfortable with the real estate buying, selling, and renting process, my deep knowledge of multicultural experiences, and my soft-spoken manner. You will truly enjoy your time with me as we find the home of your dreams.

Something about my personal interest? I enjoy music ( I play traditional Chinese instrument Pipa. Erhu etc), I like Cold Play, Pink Floyd, and some other rock, I like dancing (performing arts), yoga, fitness, swim, ski, cooking, yard work, planting vegetable and flowers). I love reading and practicing Taoism. It fascinated me when I read Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Heidegger commenting Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism.
The world has been getting so small!! I love to meet people from all over the world, I like to learn from them and share my space, my culture and my interest with them. Life is beautiful, I love life and enjoy life in a very simple way.
