Great stay at Jaquelyn and Rauli's place. They are very welcoming and their house is a good spot to discover Vermont around Montpelier.

Wonderful campground. The scenery around is awesome and the fact we would see stars so incredibly bright made staying here all the better. Jaquelyn & Rauli were great hosts and the rooms were quite comfortable. Would recommend and stay here again!

Jaquelyn & Rauli were so welcoming and such wonderful hosts! We stayed for over a week, and they checked in with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed for our kids. The commercial propane stove and selection of cookware made it a snap to cook meals, plus Jaquelyn has such good taste in colorful cups, bowls, and plates. Our rooms upstairs were clean with soft bedding and a private bathroom. The Onion River campground is a great place to stroll along the river or walk on the trails around the meadows. I hope to see Jaquelyn & Rauli again!

Jaquelyn and Rauli are nice hosts. The space we stayed in was pretty basic- not terrible for a night passing through, but not incredibly comfortable either. There isn't much to do nearby. We ended up driving half an hour to get dinner. We were looking for something after that and everything seemed to be closed.

I've stayed at Jaquelyn and Rauli's place three times now. They are really great, fun, charming people. I feel right at home the moment I arrive. Always a great stay and I look forward to the next time.

The farmhouse is really cool and decorated with an antique and modern mix which I thought was really cool. The blankets on the beds were amazing. Rauli was very friendly and accomodating and made us feel comfortable and at home. He recommended a really good pizza place nearby and I loved the remote feeling of the location although a town was a very short drive away!

We live and love life, here on 23 acres in Vermont. In addition to serving guests from all over the world at our guest house and campground, we operate an awesome chocolate & granola factory called Nutty Steph's. We love building community and watching the beauty unfold on our land. We also enjoy visiting Puerto Rico, gardening, salsa, good communication, beer, and Jane the Virgin.

Come, enjoy our world. The grounds are magical, filled with trails, creeks, meadows, orchards and a twisty turny bend of the great Winooski River. If you like to prepare and share food, then you will love our kitchen. At the Onion River Farmhouse, enjoy all the comforts of home and expect that you just may venture out into a corner of your wild nature as well. We look forward to hosting you soon!
