The space

This is a large, clean room in a classic 1850's Vermont farmhouse with two full beds. We have a fiction library, turntable and album collection. Kick back, enjoy Vermont's attractions or just lounge around and hibernate.

Guests have access to our large Kitchen, Living Room and downstairs bathroom with giant 80's style jacuzzi with jets. Also enjoy walking on our 23 acres, xcountry ski trails, river access and the old railroad bed that goes all the way to Canada.

I've stayed at Jaquelyn and Rauli's place three times now. They are really great, fun, charming people. I feel right at home the moment I arrive. Always a great stay and I look forward to the next time.

The farmhouse is really cool and decorated with an antique and modern mix which I thought was really cool. The blankets on the beds were amazing. Rauli was very friendly and accomodating and made us feel comfortable and at home. He recommended a really good pizza place nearby and I loved the remote feeling of the location although a town was a very short drive away!

Jacquelyn and Rauli are some of the most fun and kind-hearted hosts. They go above and beyond to make you feel like you are home. Their decor is super unique and their cute farmhouse kitchen is a lovely place to share a meal!

Jacquelyn and Rauli provided a spacious and comfortable apartment. They were very accommodating and treated us like friends instead of guests. I hope you get to hear Rauli and his band rehearse or perform - they are really wonderful. A great place to stay at if you're around the area

We live and love life, here on 23 acres in Vermont. In addition to serving guests from all over the world at our guest house and campground, we operate an awesome chocolate & granola factory called Nutty Steph's. We love building community and watching the beauty unfold on our land. We also enjoy visiting Puerto Rico, gardening, salsa, good communication, beer, and Jane the Virgin.

Come, enjoy our world. The grounds are magical, filled with trails, creeks, meadows, orchards and a twisty turny bend of the great Winooski River. If you like to prepare and share food, then you will love our kitchen. At the Onion River Farmhouse, enjoy all the comforts of home and expect that you just may venture out into a corner of your wild nature as well. We look forward to hosting you soon!
