Pros: Abie was an outstanding communicator and answered to all of our questions. The house is 20 minutes away from coastal parks. I enjoyed walking to these places on a regular basis. The house is quite comfortable for 1 or 2 people. Abie and her husband were very friendly and respectful throughout our stay and made sure that we had what we needed. There is parking behind the house for one car. Cons: Something I did not like when I entered the house was that an air refresher had been used and all the doors and windows were closed. Air refreshers have numerous chemicals that are toxic and harmful. I would suggest not using them. Natural products such as essential oils do the job nicely.

My family and I stayed at Abie's place in New Haven last week. We are on a tight budget so when we originally decided to go on vacation, Abie's cottage in New Haven was a perfect fit! The house was very cozy and Abie was very attentive to our needs. The fridge had to be replaced while we were there and Abie handled the situation as quickly as possible! The cottage is also very close to a beach which was great for us and not far from downtown. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at the cottage and it's a great deal especially for people wanting a little more space!

This place was pretty quaint! Nicely located and pretty spacious. Abie was a great host and it was a quick Lyft to downtown!

The ocean is an easy jog or bike ride away at 1.5 miles over gently rolling terrain. There is a sidewalk all the way and a generous breakdown lane as well if, like me, you'd rather not run on a sidewalk. While the beach area isn't like the Cape, by any means, you can swim in a protected area, look for shells, or participate in water activities. Other beaches are nearby as well, but this is handy for a stroll at various times of the day without going far from the house. The house itself was very clean. As described, it is cozy, small in square footage, but plenty big enough to feel as though you have space around you. The half bath upstairs, located in the bedroom area, is convenient as is the full bath downstairs. Parking on the street is recommended (and safe) as the driveway is very narrow and used by the owners throughout the day. Either the owner or her daughter work out logistics with you and they are very accommodating. Since they live next door, problems could be fixed straight away (we had none). Very easy access to/from I-95 and all points of interest in New Haven and the surrounding towns. Overall, a worthwhile experience!

Nice historic home. We had a great stay, and Abie and her family were great hosts. The street is busy, so we were grateful to have the option to park in the rear of the house. We would stay again.

Abie is a very nice woman who was very flexible with us when we had a snafu on our drive and had to arrange a much later arrival time than expected. At the same time, I thought the pics of the beach seemed (URL HIDDEN) doesn't seem to be 'close' to the water, to me. Also, although the house was clean, we were disappointed with the neighborhood as well as the condition of the house. It has very slanted floors up and down and is at a lower standard of aesthetic than any Airbnb I have ever stayed at.

Response from Abie:
A suggestion for Maria is to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map locations so that she can see where the property is before she books. That is how I book and I am never disappointed.
