A traditional timber farm built hut (we have been building and restoring huts for over 20 years) sitting out in our peaceful orchard - apple, greengage, pear and cherry - a secluded and private green space with fine views across grazing meadows to the imposing tower of nearby Cawston Church
Welcoming and cosy, The Orchard Hut is very private, a simple, practical and comfortable space just for our guests
Sit out in the early evening, you might well see our barn owl gliding silently past...

The space
A lovely traditional hut. Comfortable double bed, easy wood burner, under-bed storage
Bed linen & towels included
Electric kettle + crockery & glasses + tea & coffee
Spacious veranda. Garden table, bench & chairs. BBQ
Wash Hut with loo and full size shower is but a step away with the lean-to Also the firewood & BBQ fuel store. The Kitchen is mainly upcycled - using off cuts and spare corrugated tin from our workshops - the stainless steel sinks came from a fish and chip shop in Great Yarmouth
Orchard exclusive to hut guests, enclosed all round - farmland views
Private parking & access

*Mr Bailey's Hut, 1920s road wagon, is available for 2 further guests*
A wonderful old hut, built very much as a working bothy. It has a good size double bed, wood burning stove and two lovely comfy armchairs - a great place to sit and yarn over a cup of tea or a beer. Mr Bailey farmed about 7 miles away and rescued this hut from being burnt as rubbish - it was built originally as the foreman's wagon for the roads maintenance gang and would have been pulled behind a steam road roller with a water bowser and tar boiler hitched on behind - we have the tar buckets still

Salle is a tiny village with a huge and beautiful church. Park Farm is over 400 years old and was originally the main dairy farm for the Salle Park Estate.
We are 10 miles from Norwich and 15 miles from the North Norfolk coast. The village of Cawston is about a mile away with an excellent delicatessen/cafe, All Things Nice and a good eating pub: The Blue Bell.
Heydon (2 miles) has The Earle Arms, a wonderful and historic village pub that does excellent meals; also in Heydon is a very nice tea room with great cake!
We are 4 miles from Blickling Hall (National Trust).
