A traditional timber farm built hut (we have been building and restoring huts for over 20 years) sitting out in our peaceful orchard - apple, greengage, pear and cherry - a secluded and private green space with fine views across grazing meadows to the imposing tower of nearby Cawston Church
Welcoming and cosy, The Orchard Hut is very private, a simple, practical and comfortable space just for our guests
Sit out in the early evening, you might well see our barn owl gliding silently past...

The space

*Mr Bailey's Hut, 1920s road wagon, is available for 2 further guests*
A wonderful old hut, built very much as a working bothy. It has a good size double bed, wood burning stove and two lovely comfy armchairs - a great place to sit and yarn over a cup of tea or a beer. Mr Bailey farmed about 7 miles away and rescued this hut from being burnt as rubbish - it was built originally as the foreman's wagon for the roads maintenance gang and would have been pulled behind a steam road roller with a water bowser and tar boiler hitched on behind - we have the tar buckets still
