Our home is located on a nice quiet residential block. It's walking distance (.5 miles) from 2 light rail stops. Only minutes to the airport, U of M, and downtown and MOA. There are also several great restaurants and brewpubs within walking distance.

Our home has a beautiful open layout concept with tons of windows and lots of natural light. It is an early 1900s bungalow that has been carefully updated and has a nice balance of old and new. Our dog Phoebe may bark when first meeting you, but she is harmless and quickly warms up to new friends.

Guests have access to a large bedroom with a queen size bed that is connected to a relaxing sun room. The living room is equipped with a TV that has a Roku connected to Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, Amazon Prime and HBOGO. Guests are welcome to use our kitchen to cook or store food. There is also a screened in back porch and a beautiful backyard with a charcoal Weber grill that guests are welcome to enjoy. Please make yourself at home!

We both work full time and so most likely won't be around too much during weekdays. We are really good about communicating with guests and being as helpful as possible.

We are always willing to offer suggestions of restaurants, places to go, things to see, or any other questions you may have while staying in Minneapolis. There is a collection of menus from some of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood as well as some magazines with other ideas of things to do in the area. We love our city and want you to enjoy your stay with us.

Also, if we happen to catch each other on a Saturday or Sunday morning we love to make a pot of coffee and chat if guests are up for it.

We are on a quiet residential street in an eclectic laid-back neighborhood. We have access to restaurants, breweries, and public transportation within walking distance of our home. The neighborhood isn't the most bustling area of town, but it more than makes up for it with the many beautiful parks and lakes and the community feel.

Check out our Guidebook for some great ideas of restaurants and destinations in the city!

Our home is within easy walking distance of the light rail, several different bus lines, and Minneapolis bike sharing system - Nice Ride (located at both the Lake St and 38th St light rail stations). We also brochures of the different MetroTransit bus lines available in your room.

We do have an adorable small dog named Phoebe. She may bark at you, but she is harmless. Also, please be aware, she is a shedding dog. We try to keep up with dog hair as much as possible, but inevitably you will probably find some. We keep the french doors shut to the guest area to make sure she stays out of your space and to keep it as hair-free as possible. Feel free to open the doors and roam around the house as you wish.

There is only one bathroom located off of the kitchen. We will all be sharing.

Finally, we do live on a hill, so there are quite a few stairs you will need to climb to get to the front door. If you are not able to climb stairs please let us know and we can give you access to the back entrance.

Their home is in the perfect area for a little bit of quiet but close enough to the city to hop right on the blue line and go anywhere in downtown MPLS. The room was perfect for two people, and full of light and energy with lots of privacy. Phoebe was the sweetest dog, although reserved.

I will be back to stay here again for sure. This was my second stay and I really enjoyed it. It's way more comfortable than a hotel room. I felt very at home while there. Plus it is worth the visit just to see their dog. She is very well behaved and sweet. Thank you Leslie and Stevie for the comfortable stay!

Stevie and Leslie were great hosts! I loved the location as it was close to budget car rental and make it easy to save money on a rental car for the week rather than getting it at the airport. Thanks again for the nice stay!

This is a great place to stay! The house was clean and Leslie and Steve were great hosts. Their dog is very friendly and didn't bark at all the whole time we were there. There is a separate thermostat in the guest bedroom which is a great perk during Minnesota winters. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillow options, my husband and I both slept great!

Leslie and Stevie's home is beautiful! It's in a very quiet neighborhood that's a short drive to either downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul. Leslie and Stevie are kind and accommodating hosts (and their dog Phoebe is the cutest!). Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

I'm a mild mannered 30 something, with an appetite for adventure. Always starting a new project, less often finishing them. I'm a 50/50 introvert/extravert...depending on the day, who you are, and how much coffee I've had ;) I love nature and I'm working towards a more minimal/simplistic lifestyle.

I can enjoy myself almost anywhere I travel, but a few of my favorite destinations are Portugal, Alaska, Ecuador, Switzerland. I can spend hours/weeks/months planning a trip, but in general I like to get the basics, figure out the highlights and must-dos and then just see what happens when I get there.
