Place was lovely, and very relaxing. The house was clean and well-equipped. Francesco's parents were especially helpful, picking us up/giving us lifts to the train station. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing place! I would recommend it! However, if you do not have a car it will be very difficult for you to travel round! There are buses but it only runs till 6.30pm and there buses aren't frequent. If you don't have a car and wish to travel round florence then I would advise to…

Hi there, just a quick answer to clarify some things even for next guests. The last bus is not at 6.30 pm but after 8 pm, is other another line and maybe there was a misunderstanding between us. The timetables is not the same for all periods of the year, actually there are bus at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and then, 11:00 so there are ways to reach Florence. The things that I advise to all guests that want to come with public transports is to check before the line S190 Firenze-Bibbiena and to consider that we are in a countryside, so the services are of a country place and not like into a city. The shops works well, they stay opened about 8hrs per day but, like buses, the service is not 24h like in the city. You tried to go even in Florence during a festal day (sunday) and so for this you found problems with shops (that make only half day in festal days) and bus (that do the same) So check it better next time, I'm here to help

Had a lovely time at Francesco's!! A beautify flat, and his family were very welcoming!! We happened to come to Diacceto during a national holiday, so the buses to Florence were a little irregular! (Something to be aware of) I definitely recommend hiring a car if you're in the ar…
