The space

The property has two waterfronts. The front of the cabin is facing Mount Katahdin. There are blueberry bushes, and a small beach area. There is also a built-in fire pit that looks over the lake and mountains, surrounded by hammocks, and camp chairs. The back of our property is on a cove, where we have a path that leads to a staircase down to our dock. This cove has calm water, the perfect place to tie up your motorized boat, to fish off of, or jumping in for a swim.

Guest access

You will have access to two canoes, rafts and floats, lifejackets, firewood, fishing poles, and everything you would expect in a fully operating kitchen.

Guests can call me anytime for questions, directions, recommendations, etc. before and while staying on the property.

Other things to note

Our hot and cold running water is pumped from the lake, as most cabins up here are. The water is not for drinking or cooking. You must bring in your own water for consumption. There is a spring a half mile from the cabin, that you can use for cooking and drinking water.
You must bring your own sheets. There are two full size beds, one bunk bed, and one twin size bed.

THE VIEW!!! We never turned on the TV. This cabin is exactly as described with the exception of the view. The view was more than expected. We slept, ate, and lounged in the back room overlooking the lake and Mt. Katahdin. Simply beautiful!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four but could easily accommodate many more people comfortably. The view of Mount Katahdin from the front porch is absolutely amazing! The use of the canoe and kayak were greatly appreciated and gave my kids their first experience on the water. We enjoyed s'mores nightly from the sunken fire pit, caught many sunfish, and relaxed on the hammocks. Even though we came equipped with tons of bug spray, the wind off the lake kept them away. Although the cabin has all the amenities of home, we were able to unplug and enjoy the beauty of he area. We are looking forward to our next trip to Ambejesus lake. Thank you Brenda and Brian!

The property has a phenomenal view of Mount Katahdin. The home was lovely. We really enjoyed the sunroom which offers the view. The docks were sadly unusable and prevented us from enjoying the lake much.

Response from Brenda & Brian:
I apologize for the docks not being ready in time for your visit. The area had a severe winter, and the ice didn't go out till the end of April. Once the ice went out, the lake was higher than it had ever been, and it destroyed the docks that had been on high ground for the winter. The docks have now been repaired and have been placed in the back cove, as the listing shows. I hope you were able to take advantage of our offer to stay the day, with the later check out time!
