Sparkling clean2 recent guests have said that this home was sparkling clean.

The neighborhood is tranquil yet convenient to beach and active amenities of shopping (Orleans), eating and entertainment places strewn along the corridor highway, US Route 6, as described in "Getting Around." The cottage is basic and comfortable and a place to get away from it all.

Location, location, location! Easy walk to the National Seashore, home was very clean, private and well equipped. No A/C but plenty of fans to keep cool. Would definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a quiet week at the beach.

Had a great time. Alan was great to work with. Traditional cape cottage. Nauset Light Beach was a .3 mile walk away. At night from the deck you can see the Nauset light house beacon shine in the evening sky. We would go back again.

House was spotless and in a great location. Nauset Light Beach is one of our favorites. The house is small but very comfortable and has everything you need to relax. Teenagers would disagree because no WiFi or tv but I don’t want that on my vacation.

Glad that you found respite. Sometimes one just has to unplug for a spell and pursue the natural attractions found nowhere else.

My wife and I loved our week at this cottage in August. This place is a great value for a clean, well equipped, classic cape cottage in a great location - quiet, private, close (walk) to the national seashore, easy drive to restaurants.

The location is great, a short walk to Nauset Light Beach which is one of our favorite of the national seashore beaches and being able to walk avoids fighting for a parking space. The house is not updated and very bare bones (no internet, some bugs) but was fine for us as we spen…

We are a family of three and have been coming to the Cape for a few summers now. We've only ever stayed in Truro and we decided to try something new this year. We all agreed that this was our favorite Cape getaway! Alan's house is a rare find on the ocean-side. It's only a short…

I am excited about the Cape now as much as I was when I first crossed the Cape Cod Canal in 1970. Nature is an ever-changing theater. Oceanside Eastham is especially compelling for long walks in fair weather or foul; by all hours and seasons, by daylight or moonlight. The Cape…
