The space

The bedroom contains a comfortable double size bed and a walk-in closet, along with WiFi, A/C and ceiling fan. Access to a full kitchen and a back yard patio.

Guest access

Come and go as you please! I'll give you a key upon arrival. Check in time during the week is anytime after 6PM. On weekends check in time is flexible.

Interaction with guests

I will be staying in the house during your stay and the bathroom is shared with me. Don't feel obligated to pay attention to me, but I'm always down for a glass of wine and conversation. I like meeting new people, but I will stay out of your way. I will be happy to suggest restaurants, bars and cultural activities/events in the neighborhood and around Philly.

The neighbourhood

Though the large medical institution that gave this south-of-Center City swath its name is no longer in operation, Graduate Hospital — or “G-Ho,” to fans of brevity — has solidified a reputation independent of its common moniker.
The neighborhood is clean, well-lit and extremely pedestrian-friendly thanks to a vibrant entrepreneurial energy coming from the neighborhood’s restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and more.

Getting around

This location is a Walker’s Paradise so getting around does not require a car.
From my house, it's a 25 minute walk to the 30th Street train station, a 22 minute walk to the University of Pennsylvania and 19 minute walk to Rittenhouse Square and to the downtown-shopping district. If walking is not your thing, public transportation is only a few short blocks away. Nearby parks include South Square and Fitler Square.

Other things to note

Fresh towels will be provided.

Best airbnb experience so far! Nice house tastefully furnished, bedroom with extra comfy bed and huge dressing room, friendly host always up to give you some good tips and very caring. The neighborhood is great to stay in : central, easy to reach from anywhere in the the city, close to the airport, beautiful and calm. The experience at David's matches in any point what He advertises, even better!

This was my second time staying at David's place. No complications, clean, beautiful home, private room, close to everywhere I needed to be. I just parked my car in a lot for the weekend and walked everywhere.
