This apartment is in an excellent location for easy access to the public transport network of Berlin and is incredible easy to get to using the S9 train from Schonefeld. It is a very quiet and relaxed apartment block, with all the windows facing into the courtyard. Really light and airy too. There are some great cafes and shops close by and plenty of options for food shopping. Including bakeries, Lidl and a fantastic organic supermarket. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Mark's place! It was cosy and perfectly equipt for our family of three, including a 13 month old. Overlooking a courtyard area, it was lovely hearing a neighbour practising the flute whilst we ate our breakfast. The apartment was clean and tidy, with everything we needed. Mark provided and travel cot and highchair at our request - which was fantastic. Although we didn't mind, the apartment was on the 4th floor with no lift access. So walking up with a baby and pushchair/if you have any physical ailments can be quite tiring. Mark and his wife Lydia were both lovely and approachable, and always responded to queries very quickly - within the hour. Even when we missed our flight and didn't arrive until midnight (!!) they were easily contactable and Mark arrived on his bike with a welcoming smile to check us in..despite the hour and last minute changes. The area, Prenzlauer Allee was really lovely. Just two minutes walk to the train station from the apartment made it easily accessible to the airport and to get around Berlin. Nearby there are great organic supermarkets and cute cafés. At Christmas, it all looked very magical with twinkly lights, decorations and a very nice Christmas market closeby. We'd definitely recommend this apartment. Many thanks Mark!

We had booked at the last minute which was a bit stressful, but Lydia and Mark got back to us straight away with directions and instructions for arrival. The apartment was lovely and had all amenities necessary to make a nice stay. Really, they've thought of everything! We really loved the neighbourhood and the apartment building. I would definitely stay here again!

I can't thank Mark enough for such a fantastic stay. My friend and I have just returned from a weekend in Berlin and couldn't be more pleased to have found this beautiful apartment :) The location was perfect... lovely authentic neighbourhood with plenty to do around about and also close to all means of transport if you decide to travel further afield. Mark met us upon arrival and explained all we had to know and gave us some great advice for our stay. Great communication and most helpful! His apartment is super clean, very cosy with comfy beds and he very kindly left us some tea, coffee a love bottle of sparkling wine which went down a treat. Thank you Mark and to anyone looking at this apartment I assure you will be surprised and delighted if you stay!

Hi, I´m Mark!

I have loved getting to know this amazing city of Berlin over the last years and I´m looking forward to to make sure my guests have a fantastic experience too. I also enjoy travelling to other major cities or some remote destinations: this could be in the mountains, somewhere on a beautiful beach or even making firewood in the deep scandinavian nature.

My beautiful and cosy home welcomes you!
