The apartment is perfectly located just off the royal mile, so everything is walkable, however the apartment itself is quiet & peaceful. It was fully equipped with everything you might need and the beds were really comfortable. Communication was great, check in was easy. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit Edinburgh.

We loved staying at Katie's Edinburgh apartment! From the beginning of our communication, Katie was very responsive and accommodating to our travel plans, and a pleasure to talk with each time. The apartment itself is nicely furnished and very cozy, perfect for up to 4 people. It was also the most ideally situated location for our New Year's stay, being right on the Royal Mile, but set back in a courtyard so there's next to no noise from the street outside. I would certainly want to stay here again, and would recommend Katie and her apartment to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

The apartment was very cody and tidy. It's just on the Royal one mile and very close to all the sights. But the drain was badly clogged up at the first day We checked in. Although Kaity came to fix it but it didn't work. The next day Kaity had to sent the plumper to fix it. Overall, Kaity and her partner were very helpful and gave us a lot guides to travel in Edinburgh.

I'm from Edinburgh and love living in this wonderful city. I enjoy cycling, good food, dancing and spending time with friends. Edinburgh is a good city for cycling in even though its a bit hilly, but there are some wonderful routes that take you round on the old dismantled railway tracks. You can cycle out to South Queensferry to see the Forth Rail Bridge and hardly go on the roads at all.
Weekends I like to go to the Stockbridge Farmers market, lunch or dinner at Escargot Bleu on Broughton Street and a walk round the Botanical Gardens which are always beautiful. Cocktails are good at Rick's Bar on Frederick Street and Kay's Bar is a really hidden treasure for a quiet drink.

Just finished reading 'The Black House' by Peter (URL HIDDEN) brilliant cant wait to start the sequel.

Favourite destination would have to be Cuba for the fabulous scenery, wonderful people, music and dancing everywhere and the sweet smell of cigars - even though I don't smoke them. The best way to travel and see, hear, and absorb the country is definitely by bike.
