Welcome to Jane's Home! This home is a non-profit that functions as a low-cost meeting space for various community groups. To help subsidize this activity, the home is also open to the public for overnight stays.
Built in 1908, this home lies in the South Temple Historic District of The Avenues, Salt Lake City's first neighborhood. It was beautifully restored and renovated in 1989, earning it a Utah Heritage Foundation award. Brimming with local art pieces and antique furniture, Jane's Home provides a welcoming, home-like atmosphere for its guests.
When you stay at the guest house of Jane's Home, you have access to the entire guest house and are also welcome to use the backyard and gardens. You will also have access to the main home; however, it may be occupied by other guests and community groups. As this home is a functioning nonprofit, you may encounter groups meeting in some rooms of the main home during your stay. Should this be the case, we ask that you be courteous to these groups so as not to disrupt their meetings. This is a shared space, so please be cognizant of others' privacy, and your consideration will be reciprocated.
Interaction with guests
As the director of the home, I am often onsite and available. If I am not onsite, I am usually nearby and always available by phone.
The main rule is the Golden Rule: treat others as you would like to be treated. Please be respectful to the home, its guests, and your host!
