Located in a historic building typical of San Lorenzo district, "Welcome Home in San Lorenzo" is a large functional and comfortable apartment. The flat, entirely renovated to the last detail, is composed of a modern kitchen, a bathroom and two large double bedrooms with the possibility of adding a fifth bed. Its proximity to the Termini railway station makes it an ideal starting point for exploring the city.

The space

Welcome Home in San Lorenzo combines modern and functional furnishings with the volumes of a typical historic Roman apartment. Ideal for couples or families with children, it can accommodate up to 5 people. On the walls and libraries, travel photographs and archeology books will keep you company.
The kitchen, tastefully decorated with brick-vaulted ceiling, is a comfortable and luminous place where you can cook and eat like your home. It includes an oven, a 4-burner stove, a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer and all the kitchen utensils as well as some Italian cookbooks in English, French and German.
The bathroom has a modern shower cubicle, a large light mirror, a hairdryer and a washing machine. You will find space to hang out your laundry both inside and outside the apartment.
The first bedroom has a double bed, a sofa bed (1 place), a large wardrobe, a desk and chairs. The second bedroom is furnished with a sofa bed (2 places), an armchair, a table, a wardrobe, a library and chairs.
You will find in the two bedrooms towels, sheets and duvets. The whole apartment has colorful pavements from the 1900's'.

Lovely host, lovely house. Gabriele was very wellcome ing. We had a problem at the aeroport and he help to solve it and wait for us very friendly until two in the morning. The house is much more beautiful than what we expected it to be judging by the photos. The neighbourhood is a student area with great atmosphere. The comunication with the turístico area is Okay with bus. We felt immediately at home.

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Gabriele's apartment! The apartment itself was very modern, and clean. All communication was super easy and the nightlife in the area was great fun. I would stay here again!

Good apartment in a young neighbourhood with night life. Very good welcome and communication with the owner. A bit tricky to have hot water but 100% recomendable flat.

Good place near to a classic Italian night life, through the night could be a little bit guetto but at day is quite cool to walk to the touristic places of Rome

Gabriele and his co host Aldo were both great and made sure we settled in well and checked in to make sure we had no problems. The location is in a more residential area of Rome but not too far to walk to the more touristic sections (we walked about 15-20 min every day to get near the sights). The local area is quite nice and near the university so there are always students and families around. The hosts gave us more local suggestions too so we could enjoy getting away from the more tourist packed restaurants now and then, which was much appreciated.

Great place to stay with friends/family - away from the tourist buzz, amidst locals and students. Easy access to bus/tram to the city and restaurants, supermarket are within walking distance. Aldo was super-friendly and had great recommendations and suggestions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals. Would love to be back!

Traveling is probably one of the most exciting experience and I hope you will feel like at home in Rome.
