Just 45 minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, enjoy the October foliage and breath-taking sunrises at our pristine, two-story lake house on the shore of Branch Lake near Ellsworth, Maine. Ideal kayaking and canoeing.

The space

We are proud of our lakeshore home and know that you'll enjoy the solitude and outdoor atmosphere as much as we do. The bright fall colors in late September and early October are the "frosting on the cake." A large canoe and two kayaks are available for exploring the lake. Sighting of loons and bald eagles are routine.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house. The tool shed and separate garage will not be accessible.

Other things to note

Where we are situated is about 30 minutes from Bangor International Airport and less than 20 minutes to Ellsworth over excellent roads. Ellsworth is a medium-size Maine community with excellent shopping areas and superb restaurants.
