I had a great experience at Ingrid's apartment. All as described, everything!! Although I have not met in person, she was so helpful in everything I needed and all my doubts just in time. It was my first time in NY, and it gave me confidence to come back more often. Thank you so much, Ingrid!

Ingrid was out of town so we never met her, but she is very responsive via text and email. She arranged for us to pick up the keys at a local coffee shop, and this was no problem. The apartment is in a fantastic location, just 2-3 blocks from the Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum subway stop. There are restaurants, bars, grocery stores and a yoga studio nearby. It is in a classic old Brooklyn building. The apartment is lovely, very well equipped and full of books and art so you feel you are house sitting for a friend -- a very brainy and interesting friend! When it came time to leave, there was a problem with the keys. Ingrid asked us to leave them back at the coffee shop for a friend. She said if they were reluctant to hold the keys there, we might try leaving them at a different coffee shop several blocks away. This introduced an unwelcome element of anxiety for us, since we were on our way to the airport to catch a plane and didn't have a lot of extra time. As it turned out, when we left, I thought my husband had the keys and he thought I had them, so the keys ended up being locked in the apartment. We hope Ingrid had a Plan B for the keys.

The description says it all. This bright one-Bedroom Brooklyn apartment was a gem. Everything was just as in the photos and then some. The apartment and neighborhood was quiet & cozy making it very easy to sleep the day away. The location was to die for seeing as we were a couple blocks from the Brooklyn museum/ botanical garden and then a little further of a walk, prospect park. There were supermarkets, bars, and restaurants also in walking distance. Certainly enough that we didn't need to leave the radius if we wanted to. Ingrid made our accommodations perfect and was always easily reached. As our first time using AirBNB, It was beyond what we expected and my girlfriend and I have Ingrid to thank for that. She'll always be our first choice when in New York.
