The space

Our house is a very cosy place, a real country feel in the middle of the city!

The house offers a very large living room with an open kitchen and dining room. In winter you can profit of the nice old chemney and on sunny days you can have all meals outside on the private large terrace. Upstairs you find the bathroom, the parents bedroom, one kids bedroom (on a mezzanine) and a guest room on the second mezzanine. A second kidsbed is available.

Our house is situated in the backcourt of a 5 floors building

We are located just 5 minutes walk from europes largest Antique and Flee market (Saint Ouen/Clignantcourt in the north of Paris).

The closest Metrostration (100m) is called Garibaldi and brings you within 6 stations (direct) to the wellknown shopping area around Galeries Lafayette/Pintemps and to the Opera. The metro also brings you directly to the Champs Elysees within 8 stations.

Bikes (Velib) can be hired just next to the metrostation (100m).

You have a market 3 times a week and all necessary shops within 2 minutes walk.

Our host Elodie was on holiday when we stayed at her house but her friends were very helpful and her house is beautiful, the description was very accurate and we had a very enjoyable and memorable four days in Cosy house. We loved the area so close to the Metro and very handy for the shops, the flea market was a revelation, we are determined to visit again. Thank you Elodie.

We had a really great time during our stay in Elodie's house. I have stayed in previous houses using AirBnB, but what was remarkable about this place was that you didn't feel you were in a hotel - its a cosy and comfortable place with a nice retro/art-deco twist. Elodie was an excellent host - providing us with all information about the house/neighborhood when we arrived (which really helps, considering we are non-French speakers!). I definitely recommend this place

Wonderful house, which is chic, characterful and a relaxing retreat too. A hotel would never measure up. It's perfect for families (feels like home) or a couple wanting to 'escape'. We found the decor really inspiring as it's so well designed and put together. 'Cosy House' doesn't really do it justice. You can do the city and then completely forget where you are. The metro is 2 mins away at the end of the street, couldn't be handier and takes about 15 mins to get the Champs Elysees. Even though it's not central Paris, it still has that feel with all the shops, you need 2 mins away. A home from home if you're lucky enough to have a home like that. Actually better than the pictures suggest too!!

We spent 3 nights here. It was a great location near the metro stop. Elodie met us as planned and gave us a very thorough introduction to her place and the city. She had many helpful tips. Her place is very charming and we had everything we needed.

Elodie's house is very beautiful and unique. The furniture is comfortable and we were able to cook and wash our clothes there. The train station, the supermarket and restaurants are all a short walking distance. Le Puce, the vintage market is also a short walking distance. We loved it!

Amazing little house situated in a wonderful and private open space in St Ouen. It has everything one should need and is both clean and very cosy, and very chic french. You will not be disappointed! Being in St Ouen it is not in the city centre and we used the Metro to get around. Tip: Morning jog from the house to Sacre Couer.

We had a lovely time at Elodies home. The flat is well equipped and the entire flat is very stylish and cosy at the same time. All furniture and decoration is well chosen and is giving a very comfortable feeling. During our stay we loved to have our meals outside at the cosy place within the courtyard. I think it is a privilege to enjoy this in such a peaceful country like environment in the middle of a huge city. We even had barbeque one evening. The market for vegetable, meat, fish …. is just around the corner – it is taking place three times per week. The metro, the bus stop and the bicycle hire are within short distance. Bus line no. 85 takes you to Montmartre and further to Notre dame i. e. into the heart of the city. Our dialog with Elodie was easy and always very pleasant. Handover of keys was organized very well. For sure we will not hesitate to book again with Elodie during our next Paris holidays.
