Hotel Rules and Regulations
1.The Hotel requires all guests checking in to present their passports (for foreigners) or valid identification cards (for locals) upon check in. This document is very important to ensure safety of all guests in the hotel.
2.Upon checking in, the hotel will require a P1,000.00 security deposit (for daily guest) which is refundable upon check out. This will be applied to any incidentals of the guest.
3.Keep the Hotel premises clean. Trashes must be disposed properly.
4.To avoid losing Hotel key guests may surrender it at the front desk each time the guest leaves the Hotel. Any damage or loss of the Hotel key will be subject to a fine. The key must be returned upon check out.
5. The key must only be used by the guest checking in the assigned Suite. For cases where other persons are asked by guest to get items from the Suite, the person asked must present the Suite Key, the guest's ID with picture and an authorized letter to the front desk. The Hotel will not be held responsible for any loss or damage for guest's property and guest will be charged for any loss or damages made to hotel property.
6.The Hotel shall not be held responsible for the interruption of Internet Connection, Telephone Line, Cable TV Connection, Electricity Connection, or other utilities that are externally supplied by Independent Companies which are not controlled by Sta. Barbara Suites that occur beyond our control.
7.Guest must take good care of their own belongings. The Management will not be held responsible for any loss or damage and or theft of any articles or possession of the guests save as provided for under Book IV of Civil Code, Title XII, Chapter 2, Section 3, Article 2002.
8.No prohibited, illegal or flammable goods are allowed to be stored inside the room.
9.If any abandoned luggage or lost and founds items are not claimed by the guest after a maximum period of 90 calendar days, the Management has the right to dispose these items.
10.No pets are allowed on the Hotel premises.
11.No gambling of any kind or unlawful behavior is permitted.
12.Playing with the emergency fire alarm buttons, fire extinguisher or the fire hose is strictly prohibited. These devices are only to be used in cases of emergency. The Hotel Management reserves the right to ask the guest to leave for usage of these devices for non-emergency cases.
13.Keep silence on the Hotel premises. Please avoid slamming of doors.
14.Hanging of clothes or other items outside the windows and railings is not allowed.
15.No visitors are allowed on the Hotel Suites after 10:00 PM. In-house guests may entertain their visitors at the lobby at this time. The Front Desk will automatically charge extra person fee to guests having their visitors go up to their Suite after 10:00 PM.
16.No changing of Suites or transfer of rooms is allowed without the permission of the Front Desk.
17.Guests are held responsible for any damages to the furniture's/decorations or other facilities and equipments in the Suites and Hotel Premises.
18.All electric appliances should be switched off and the windows should be closed when guests leave the Suites.
19.Smoking is not allowed on Hotel premises. We are a non-smoking Hotel. We have designated smoking areas at the Roofdeck, outside the Hotel Lobby and in the Suite Balconies. A penalty of P1000.00 will be imposed when violated.
20.For Hospital information or ambulance service please contact the Front Desk.
21.It is company policy that the housekeeping staff is to check all check-out Suites before finalizing the check out procedure.
22.Please do not take away the items in the room as souvenirs. Otherwise, the charge will be added to your Hotel Bill.
23.Early Departure Policy for Daily Reservations: Advance payment for room accommodation is non refundable. If Guests will check out earlier than expected departure date, the unused credit shall be used for a future stay. (Validity period of unused credit is for two months from the time of check out).
24.In case of violation of the above regulations or any misconduct as deemed to cause others inconvenience or discomfort, the Management reserves the right to ask the guest to leave.
25.The Hotel reserves the right to refuse check-in for guests with mental or behavioral problems. This includes difficult and violent guests who had previous problems with the hotel and its staff.
26.The Management reserves the right to alter or amend the above regulations without any notice. In case of any query, please contact the Front Desk.
For items not covered by the above regulations, the Management will follow the general practice of the Hotel Industry in Cebu City.
