I am a professional working in NYC that's offering a rental unit in a luxury building that is perfect for professionals and students. The condo building requires that renters enter into leases of a minimum of 6 months and purchase renters' insurance. (You can give notice and break the lease with a small penalty if you are faced with circumstances that require you to do so.)
Here's a description of the space:
The rental is close to midtown-- by door to door shuttle jitney, (or NJ Transit Bus, for which the renters can buy a monthly unlimited pass), the renters would be in Times Square in 15 minutes.
I live in a gorgeous luxury elevator building, with a built-in supermarket, dry cleaner, dentist, drug store, doctor's office, cobbler, tailor, bank, realty, beauty salon, and two restaurants.
The gym facilities are terrific. We also have a spa, with 2 swimming pools, Jacuzzi, and 2 saunas. The rent would include access to these facilities. Keep in mind that the management association conducts a background check before giving spa passes to renters. If you don't clear the background check you won't have access to these facilities. Also, if you do get access and the management association starts to charge for use of these facilities, you will have to bear the costs.
If you want to take visitors to the spa or gym, some days are free and on other days, you will have to pay.
The renters would have tons of room (like having their own spacious studio apartment). There are 2 bathrooms.
I will provide basic furnishings such as bedding, nightstands, and lamps.
There's laundry in the building on every other floor. (You need to buy a laundry card).
Since the space is huge, and there is enough privacy and doors that lock, I will reserve the right (as the owner who pays the mortgage and maintenance), to be allowed to come in and out as a guest or co-tenant.
There's a dining nook, which the renters are welcome to use.
The kitchen is sizeable and has all the appliances.
The entire apartment, including the space I occupy, is HUGE- 1040 square feet.
If you want a nice, clean, posh, centrally located place to stay near Midtown Manhattan, look no further!!
There's a parking garage, which my renters are free to use for a reasonable monthly fee charged by the condo building.
For location, majestic views of the Manhattan skyline, comfort, and convenience, my place is unbeatable.

Things to keep in mind
No drinking in the house if you are under 21.

The toiletries on your nightstand in your living area and in your bathroom are for your use/consumption. Please refrain from using the owner's toiletries. If you require additional toiletries other than those provided for you, there is a drug store right in the building, within the Galaxy mall, as well as a grocery store. Please have the doorman/doorwoman show you where they are.
The magazines and books are there for you to enjoy. Please leave them where you found them. Do not tear out any pages.
