Getting around

We have a community bus service that runs from the farm. This visits a number of local towns on different days. We can provide a timetable for this. The nearest train stations are Ipswich and Stowmarket. The public bus service is limited and there is a half mile walk to the nearest pick up point. Cycling is very popular in the area and being relatively flat this is an ideal way to explore the area.

Other things to note

Bed linen provided, towels provided, laundry room separate to the cottage with washing machine and tumble drier. Access to the farm and it’s variety of animals including chickens, goats, miniature horses, rare breed pigs, sheep, cows, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets.

The owners are on site 24/7 should you require assistance and are more than happy to show you around the farm to meet the animals.

There is also an artisan wine company on site making handcrafted wines and liquers.
Produce raised and grown on the farm is available to buy if you fancy some really local high quality meat, vegetables and eggs.

Perfect get away for our young family. Our three year old loved feeding the animals on the farm, a stones throw from the cottage and we enjoyed the hot tub, beautiful sunsets and tranquility of the location. Foot paths lead in all directions from the cottage, making it a haven for walkers. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need. Jane is lovely and really helpful. The delicious eggs and fab coffee machine were added luxuries! We will be recommending and back one day! Thank you!

Our four days at Blueberry cottage could not have been better. The setting is idyllic- feels very remote and rustic - and Jane was such a lovely host. She introduced us to all the animals on her farm and even let us feed them and hold the newly-born lambs!! We did luck out with the weather, but the accommodation was absolutely perfect for a countryside escape. The pictures do not do it justice in our opinion- it is so cosy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals, we did a lovely wine-tasting down the road at D-j Wines and we enjoyed many hours in the fantastic hot tub! We will return as soon as possible.

Me and my 3 girlfriends have just returned from a 2 night stay at blueberry cottage. We had an amazing stay, Jane was friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything you would need to cater for yourselves, bedrooms were much bigger than expected. We also did a wine tasting experience at DJ Wines about a minutes walk away which was superb, a definite must!! Thankyou so much for a lovely weekend!!

A lovely quiet cottage in rambler's heaven. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing aching feet after a long day's walking.

We spent two nights here and it was just amazing. A lovely remote cottage, absolute bliss silence. We had everything we needed for our stay, including robes and more importantly tea as and coffee. The hot tub was brilliant, and the scene was amazing, with fields and fairy lights everywhere. Highly recommended for a weekend get away! Only slight bad point was dodgy wifi, which was actually nice to not be able to constantly use our electronic devices. Thanks for a super relaxing weekend.

Cosy retreat! When we arrived we felt instantly in love with the cottage. The smell of the log fire when we pulled up was lovely. The pictures on the site do not do the cottage justice, it was a lot bigger than expected and had a real homely feel about it! Our dog was made to feel very welcome when Jane popped over to show us around. The cottage provides every thing you could need for a relaxing break. The hot tub at night, with the stary sky's and the silent field was just idyllic. Being shown around the farm by Debbie, Jane and the three dogs and getting to meet the animals was an added bonus! If you want to visit the winery, you should book in advance. Thank you both! We can't wait to come back
